I need a NPC to be less agressive

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 12:07 pm

I'm working on my Grandmaster of Hlaalu 1.2 mod and I'm at the part where you form a alliance with Banden Indarys, but I lowered his Fight to 40, Flee to 20, alarm to 80, and Hello to 30. and I took his default script from him, but he still acts aggressive towards me, Is there anything I can do to take away his aggression towards me?

I hope someone can help me, and Thanks in advace,

The standard Fight setting for a non-aggressive NPC is 30. If you want to make him even less aggressive than that, just set it even lower. With a setting of 0 he should only attack you if you attack him first.

I lowered his fight to 10 and he still attacks me. I have to use a Calm Humanoid spell on him.

But here's another problem, when I talk to him after I calm him, and I go to a topic I get this error message.

Script Dialogue CompileAndRun
Script command "HH_Redoranolly" not found on line 1.

HH_Redoranolly 10

Script Dialogue CompileAndRun
Script command "HH_Redoranolly" not found on line 1.

HH_Redoranolly 10

and I have this in the results section of the dialogue for that topic

Journal HH_Redoranolly 10

Could be caused by outdated references in the savegame - that sometimes happens when you (for example) add or remove a script from an existing NPC. Try cleaning your save.

I'm not sure what's causing the CompileAndRun problem; all I can suggest is that you go back to the CS and check you've spelled everything correctly, included the right index number for the journal, etc.
