Alright. So I've been having the idea for the passed 4 months now of writing a Skyrim romance story. I need some opinions on what kind of story I should write, as in I present you guys with the plot idea, and you guys tell me which one you like best.
My original intention was of having the story follow a female Argonian named Jassana who has no memory other than that of her name, and has forgotten how to speak. She journey's from Solitude after Hadvar saves her from being thrown into the river below Solitude after General Tullius gives that order to make room for another Stormcloak soldier in the Castle Dour dungeons. Hadvar advises her to go to Whiterun in search of the Dragonborn, as he feels they might be able to help Jassana. After she meets the Dragonborn, she travels with him as his apprentice, despite the Dragonborn's reluctance to being referred to as master and taking on a student so early in his path down the Way of the Voice. But after traveling with the Dragonborn for a while and recovering her ability to speak, her journey as the Dragonborn's apprentice becomes something more than just an apprentice and master relationship. Their travels with one another serve only to strengthen their relationship with one another, and their love of one another only continues to grow. In this storyline, I had planned for there to be divine forces at work in bringing them ever closer to one another as lovers.
Another idea I got recently was telling the story of a female Khajiit named Vriinja from the 2nd Era during the middle of Potentate Versidue-Shaie's rule over the Empire. She happens to be a member of the Blades under service of the Serpent King. She also happens to serve as his personal advisor and occasional six slave. Vriinja's story begins with a flashback memory of her escorting Versidue to the council meeting chambers within his palace after hearing a report of a mad Khajiit mage attempting to rewrite history(this may not be exactly conforming to established lore, but I'll try to keep it as lore friendly as possible) by trying to erase Versidue from history. Fearing for his very existence, Versidue ultimately chooses Vriinja to lead a team of seven Blades to the mage's fortress deep in the Tenmar Forest. The memory fastforwards to when they make their assault on the fortress, gain entry and fight their way through the fortress, cutting down battlemages and other mages that stand in their way. Things take a turn for the worse when they find the mage, who reveals to Vriinja that he is seconds away from erasing Versidue from existence with the help of an Elder Scroll. With no other alternative, Vriinja makes the decision to attack him head on. As she makes her attack, the mage reacts quickly in fear by altering his spell he planned to erase Versidue with, and instead casts it upon Vriinja. The memory ends there, and Vriinja opens her eyes to look up at the underside of the arch Solitude sits upon. She stands upon the Katariah, guarding the entrance to the deck below. In this story, Vriinja is a Khajiit Blade who is sent forward through time by the mage, ending up many centuries later in the overgrown ruins of the mage's fortress. She returns to Senchal, only to learn that Cyrodill is the seat of the Empire now, and that the Emperor is visiting Skyrim. And her main story begins in Skyrim, protecting the Emperor, meeting the Dragonborn, falling in love with another Khajiit, and aiding the Dragonborn in Skyrim's civil war.
Those are really the only two story ideas I have. The first one I have a lot already planned out in terms of the plot. The second one is more of a...let's say a prequel to the first idea, as the main character of that story happens to be a character who appears later on in the first story.
But my question to all of you reading this is this; which story idea do you like the most? Which one should I start writing first?
