I have been a casual fan of the writings of H.P. Lovecraft for a while and I finally bought a compilation of stories a few weeks ago. As I was reading them it hit me that I have never seen a movie based on any of Lovecraft's work. I tried searching for some movies but it appears there hasn't really been a good adaptation yet. Have any of you fine forumites viewed a Lovecraft movie that you would recommend? I really like the Cthulhu character so anything to do with him would be great but if the greatest Lovecraft movie has nothing to do with the aquatic monstrosity then that is all well and good too.
