Well, my PC only seems able to be set to 1024x768 for Morrowind. Previously I had it at a better resolution. Either 1366x768 or 1280x768. It was kind of widescreen-ish. I hadn't done anything to the game to get it like that.

Now I only have 3 options. The three lowest ones. My roommate has 5 options in his Morrowind game for resolution. The top two are missing from mine. My PC has a native resolution of 1366x768(laptop).

It was working just fine at a more widescreen resolution when I decided to dink around with some other resolutions to see what it looked like. Turns out that I cannot go back to a higher resolution now, or rather I don't know how. Tried entering and exiting the game several times. Tried different characters. Nothing is working.

Anyone have a resolution for my resolution?

As far as i know Morrowind doesnt have any more than 1024x768 by default. so maybe you were using a mod like MGE that changes the resolution. i use that to get a 1600x900 res. try looking in the game folder for any similar exe. to see if you are indeed using one.

Wouldn't be possible, I explicitly have avoided mods that alter anything major and certainly have not touched MGSO or MGE. Both do funny things to my game for whatever reason. Probably because I am an idiot lol.

Personally, I like to use http://download.fliggerty.com/download--875, even in my GOTY only Morrowind install. I play the game in a borderless 1920x1080 window and everything works just fine.

You can use the Morrowind FPS Optimizer to set resolution, without introducing any game-breaking changes.
