I need some help on getting the game

Well I cant say much, I was playing Mortal Kombat Trilogy for N64 when I was like...10...lol. And I turned out fine...

I think its a bunch of BS that people think kids playing M games causes them to go shooting up schools and mutiliating cats...

BUT after seeing YOUR post and how you are against all that stuff (ie six, drugs, language, blood, nudity, ect) Im thinking you might have a tad bit of growing up to do before playing this game...considering it consists of ALL that stuff...And the fact that you will be taking steps to change the game to cater to your youthful eyes, Id say wait..I was quite a different 14 year old than you are let me tell you, hah.
Its good tho to see a kid who actually isnt all [censored] up and having six with all their classmates like you see 10 year olds doing nowadays...Its sick

when I was your age all i wanted were M games because they always seemed to be 100x more fun than the lame E games...

In the end its your call but since you ARE such a good kid and im sure they know that, I think you can pretty easily convince them...(now im contradicting what I said earlier..lol o well)

And unless they are going to be watching over your shoulder while you play the whole time...They probably wont see the bad stuff (besides the violence)

I think the main stuff that might turn them off of it is the crucifixions, cannibalism, and drugs...So id say try to not let them see that and you should be cool

P.s. are you in High School yet?

Beth knows minors play FO, heck if parents didn't buy their M rated games for the kids sales numbers would be quite different, what is crazy the content in FO being R rated but no cursing on the boards

Anyway it comes down to parenting, I have seen worse things on cable than in FO and kids see as much skin on a beach or at a pool than in game. Call me what you will but I let my 10yo son play FO3 (360 only) an I'm right there along side him the whole time. Good luck getting the game, you sound as if your a good kid with some common sense judging your just for the record comments.

The only M rated game that I sort of regret playing for its mature content is Modern Warfare 2, when you have to go into that airport and just slaughter people. I definately felt a little uneasy during that.

EDIT: I am also 16 years of age. Almost 17

I felt uneasy doing that and I was 19 going on 20 at the time. Then again, I have a habit of immersing myself in a lot of games, so I tend to feel morally corrupt at times.

OT - There is six, but it fades to black and you hear moans. Not graphic, there is lot's of blood and gore, and, in my opinion OP, if you feel you can handle the gore and what not, be honest with your parents and ask, because if you don't, you'll just be wondering "what if" until Skyrim gets released. Though, coming from an upbringing where my parents let me play what I want, I don't know how much weight these words will have. :P

Hope it helps.

In 'Bad Day in LA', the end game has you coerced into attacking US army troops with a tank's light machine gun in a moving turret mission as the tank follows its route to the end of the map. That one I felt uneasy with.
