I'm used to see an enemy use some random template, but their stats will still show in the stats tab, same with the spells/perks. However there's some enemies that it all remains blank for. I'll look at the template and see they use a lvlcharacter template of some sort, so i'll go find that template..and see it uses another list from somewhere else..use the all search to find that list and from there I don't understand how it applies the stats/spells/perks to the original npc belonging to the 'actor' category. I dont see any stats/spells etc.
I tried some searching and also noticed some enemies will use a lvl character template.. but have a quest alias that changes their name to be unique.
My interest is in finding what i need to edit in order to make these enemies stronger ( without affecting other enemies, i assume i'll need to duplicate/rename/edit/attach new templates to actor )
Some of the enemies look like i can toggle off some of the options of the template, like un-toggle stats and just add my own. However I'm worried about screwing with the empty spell list since it probably 'should' come from this other source i haven't been able to see properly. Other enemies, like named bandit boss can't even be found in the actor category so i'm not sure how to edit them properly.
If anyone can break-down what i'm not understanding I would really appreciate it. In case i'm not making sense, some examples would be...
Forgemaster - uses lvl list, based on lvl uses a template for several different centurion types it looks like..i think..
Hajvarr Iron Hand - named bandit that won't appear in the 'actor' list
My mod in case anyone is confused at what i'm trying to figure out:
