Need some suggestions -

This happened once before with another mod and I was never able to fix it, so I started a new game.
I really don't want to do that again.

If I remove Tc2rPoisonsofNamira from my mod list, Oblivion will CTD when trying to save.
This happens whether I do a Streamsave, a Quicksave, a Manual, or a console command.
Every save borks and the resulting "corrupted save" for each method is exactly the same size (as reported by Wrye Bash).
As long as that mod is loaded, saving with any method works.
I've been able to remove other mod's and add them back in, but this one is "stuck".

Does anyone have any ideas?
Hmm, just had a thought - gonna try a blank esp renamed loaded to to if that will save...

As a potential method of fixing this, is there a "Save Editior" out there somewhere?

edit: This is Weird. I opened the mod in TES4Edit and removing all the records except the header. Activated it, loaded a good save game. Then saved with no poroblems.
Exited, opened the mod in TES4Edit again, confirmed there were 0 records.
Loaded the game I just saved without the mod active. CTD on save! Arrgh! :banghead:

Oh, and before someone asks, YES I rebuilt the Bashed Patch. One with the mod and one without so I can switch back and forth trying to get to the bottom of this.

No save editor for oblivion. I don't think anyone has broken down the file structure yet..... considering how long the game has been out, I wouldn't hold my breath on that happening either.

I have no clue why your game would behave that way......

I had a problem making saves at one point when I tried to sell certain items to one vendor. I finally resolved the issue by selling the items to a different vendor - believe it or not! Anyway it seemed to be related to the extended information on inventory items being corrupted. Does the mod you are trying to remove add anything to your inventory? Perhaps removing them from your inventory would solve the issue. It's a long shot, but that situation was one which was preventing saves for me for a bit.

Not sure if this will solve your issue, but it may be worth trying anyway:

Go to Wrye Bash saves tab. Look at your latest save with the mod in question removed. It should have a red- checkbox next to it. Click on the save. On the right-hand side, you'll see a list of mods that are included in the save.

Scroll through the list, and find the mods that are now unchecked in that list (these are the mods you removed), These shall be highlighted in red. Right-click on all such mods (if there are multiple), and select "Disable". This will place a XX in front of that mod's name. Press Save at the bottom of that list. If you do this for the first time, WB will ask you o confirm this modification. Select yes.

After saving, I also recommend rebuilding the bashed patch, running TES4LODGen, LandMagic etc. before loading the save. Hopefully this will work...

Did you miss uninstalling in a certain way that a mod needed to?

I forget sometimes that some mods you just can't click them off but have to set an ini / console command to safely clear the mod from your game.
