Trying to become Thane of The Pale (Dawnstar) and I need to assist 3 people. I got one for turning in ore at the quicksilver mine and one for finding the salts for Captain Wayfinder.

Doing Pieces of the Past didn't get me an "assist" point, neither did killing a giant for a bounty. Wayfinder gives the salts quest again (glitch?) but doing it a second time didn't count. I killed the owner of the other mine a while ago for a Dark Brotherhood quest.

I'm pretty much stuck here. Who else can I help?
