Need someone with Editing Skills: Involves a future endeavor

Okay, so recently I've been caught up like the rest of you, in all the stuff that comes with the holidays, and frankly still am until probably the 4th or 5th of January. So excuse my absence on everything I'm working on and am apart of, but since I've had a bit of a break and some time to brainstorm, I've come to a bit of a fork in the road with an idea I've come to think might be fun and engaging for everyone in this section of the forums. It's based off an old idea that's been tried and done before, but being me lately, I've changed it up a bit to experiment and see what people think.

What I need though, is help on a possible RP idea that I haven't even been able to even write down properly, and want to detail out quite a bit (so it's not going to be ready for sometime). This detailing involves a map and editing of the map a bit, and that's where I need help. I'm not at all the best or very competent when it comes to editing and putting new things on something already there, so that's where I need help from some of you.

If you're decently capable at all with photoshopping and editing things onto pictures, it'd help me greatly. What I need edited, is this map: http://www.yellowmaps.com/maps/img/US/base/oregon_90.jpg. Now what I need edited in, is some lines and things like that, similar to what you'd find on an old style military map, showing positions and areas of control for both sides. Now it is a big map (I'd prefer if you need to, to blow it up to it's full-size before editing it), and gives good clear definition of where's what on the map already. So if you're up for helping me out on this (which to me is the hardest part seeing how I'm not skilled in this area,) I'll PM you where I'd like the lines and how things are to be marked, etc.

My laptop lacks internet connectivity for now, but try Gimp. Its free. You can just blocked out words you don't want, and use it to type in new ones. Inkscape may also be useful, and is likewise free. I've been toying with the idea of a Inkscape comic....but ....life.

Well, I'm general always tied up, but if you want to go ahead and send it to me anyway, you never know what a little bit of free time might garner you.
