I need something to extend my gameplay

Post » Tue Aug 03, 2010 12:35 am

Hello,
I made my third char in oblivion and would like to have some mod to keep me for a long time in the world of tamriel. I would like something to look for and collect so it could keep me busy for many hours. The only obstacle on the way is my unique landscapes mod (whole pack) and maybe some others (lost spires, verona house bloodlines, gates to aesgaard). If you know about any of such mods that would be compatible with UL I'd be grateful, I can resign from my quest mods, but UL is necessary for me. Or maybe some user of UL would like to make such mod for me? This doesn't have to be a big mod, let's say 20 runes/cards/items hidden in the Cyrodiil.

Regards,
Wojtek

PS. Sorry for bad English :)

Perhaps http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=29931? Adonnay's Classical and Elven weaponry also comes to mind.

Phitts Artifacts looks very nice. If I won't find anything better I think I'll use it, since it places the artifacts into the dungeons it's compatible with almost everything. This mod looks pretty nice, but I was thinking about something like sanguine items in morrowind, they were spread all over the world. Look at http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=19140, I need something like this but compatible with UL, and also it doesn't have to be so big (I don't need 300 cards, as I said, 20 would be enough). Thanks for your support.

Ayleid Loot Extended adds cunningly hidden (but rather beautiful) ayleid clutter (vases and the like) in dungeons, very collectable.
The Ayleid Steps, introduces huge amounts of additional adventuring.

Sorry I've not shown links but my (work) computer won't let me.They're both on Tesnexus.

Ayleid Loot Extended seems a great mod, but I don't like the idea of the items being multiplied (I'd rather like the items to be unique). I don't completely understand the idea of ayleid steps. You have to look for these steps in wilderness? In that case it would be great for me as long as it's not placed in commonly visited places.

I don't mean extending my game by additional quests/places but by having to look for hidden treasures or other collectible items. Know what I mean?
I still wonder why there's no such mod compatible with UL since it's so popular. Some modder might think about it.

Hmm... A mod with loads of unique collectables and artifacts... Sounds like an interesting project. I would love to play something like that.

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=26219 - adds several quest lines to collect unique armor pieces, jewels, clutter, etc.
http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15256 - lots of special hand placed loot, unique armors and weapons
http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=16316 - new dungeons with special ayleid artifacts

Those 3 combined with Phitt's Artifacts will keep you busy until TESV.

I use, in addition to the already mentioned Phitt's Artifacts, http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2732 and http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6226.

How about joining the http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=19140 and collecting some trading cards?

The Ayleid steps are all over the place. In the wilderness, in Alyleid ruins and dungeons, even in the Imperial city! When activated (initial quest for the mod) each step ports you to another step. Some are random ("broken") others not, some of those send you to special hidden places like Ayleid ruins only accessible through steps.
The basic idea is that it is an ancient Ayleid transportation system, which includes places long since lost (added 'buried' ruins etc.)
