I have almost nothing left to do. I'm on For The Republic Part 2, where I have to investigate the Omertas. I also have Wild Cards: Side Bets, in which I've already ignored the White Gloves (did it too early, got their support later and can't change it even though I've read you're supposed to be able to do so) and BoS, gotten the Boomers' support, and convinced the Khans to leave. I'm not going to ignore the Omertas because they're scumbags and I want to let all the Securitrons run over their asses. I have How Little We Know, too- haven't wanted to give the weapons parts and chlorine to the guys because it's a bad guy move.
So. I've already talked to Liza at the Embassy, and...
-When I go to Gomorrah, the quest cursor just blinks in the middle of the front foyer.
-The receptionist is supposed to give me info, but doesn't- I already hit her up for info once earlier in the game, which I assume is affecting it (although presumably it shouldn't).
-Cachino is already dead; I met Joana and decided to smack down the biggest scumbag and deal with the rest later, rather than knock off the clan and risk Cachino escaping.
-Joana has escaped, so if she could have helped, she can't now.
-If I finish How Little We Know, my options are to tell Yes Man I approve of the Omertas' plan and to lie to Moore at Hoover Dam. Not happening.
-If I start whacking the Omertas, whether I start with the front thug or Big Sal, the quest log says I can tell Yes Man the Omertas are hostile towards me, but still that I can only lie to Moore. I don't like it, since I never got any opportunity to investigate the Omertas and finish the quest properly, but if the bad guys are dead I can deal with it. But when I go to Yes Man, my only option remains to ignore the Omertas. (I may not have tried this with Big Sal dead, if that definitely makes a difference.)
I haven't tried going back to Hoover Dam and lying to Moore because I want the Yes Man quest line to continue. I don't know how to do that if making them hostile won't trigger the conversation piece the quest log says it should. I also would rather get the NCR quest done properly; all I can figure is that Cachino had some kind of information stashed, but even if that's the case I don't know if there's any way to get it with him dead.
Edit: I realize I may not have any choice but to lie to Moore about the Omertas, since Cachino's dead. That's ok. I just want to progress with Yes Man more than anything, and they all seem interrelated.
