I need suggestions for new character

Post » Mon Sep 30, 2013 10:37 pm

I haven't played skyrim for 2 weeks and I need a new roleplay thingy for coming back to Skyrim.

Must be a female
Not an Argonian, Khajiit, Orsimer or imperial

Have you tried a Breton that looks like a redguard, and is kind of a disillusioned (Like Isran) Vigilant of Stendarr? If so, I cannot help you.

An obese Nord woman with a mustache.

-Use only Iron armor and weapons unless forced to otherwise use other items for a quest.

-Use only two handed ie. Warhammer, Battle Axe or Great Sword unless previous rule occurs.

Or a mer of your choice race and choice build with no restrictions other than your own preferences.

I mean dark-skinned. And I was talking more like a Vigilant who decided to go vigilante on anything considered evil, which would be anything. Batman-like, but in the service of Stendarr.

Since you hate Imperials, try RPing as one and see things through her eyes!

Lol. There is probably over a hundred builds on that site. But if you've literally tried them all you could always try making your own variants.

Or maybe you are just bored of the game and need a break.

My Current RP Is as follows:

I took one of my adopted kids and "grew them up" in the character creator. The character's skills are her own, with some similarities with her Father's skills (archery and one-handed) However, I decided to make her a Ranger, where she uses a lot of stealth and archery, as well as appropiate Magic that complement her combat skills (Oakflesh and some conjurgation). She runs around Barefoot (IDK why I decided to do this, but it's a lot of fun) and carries everything she needs, making travel to cities very rare, and only to sell off items when needed. She has only the cottage at Lakeview Manor, because like I said, she's always out wandering Skyrim, usually not taking any roads. She's currently running odd jobs for the Thief's Guild, just to make a little extra coin and the chance to run around Skyrim. Overall, the Civil War has no real effect on her, but eventually she'll end up joining the Legion like her Father did. She Doesn't use a lot of shouts, but when she does use them, they're either Animal Allegance of Kyne's Peace, just to keep the Bears and Wolves away.

Then maybe it is time for you to quit Skyrim? Ever roleplayed someone who no longer plays a game?

An orc grunt from Warcraft 1-3!

Race: Orc

Skills: 1 handed, block, heavy armor, blacksmithing ("upgrade complete!"), lockpicking (increased treasure perks, a tie-in to the pillage upgrade in WC3)

Armor: Steel or Orcish

Weapons: War axe, shield

Shouts: Elemental Fury (bloodlust, anyone?)

Quests: MQ, Companions, Civil war, dawnguard (DG side), dragonborn, you might even be able to justify the thieves guild

Just be a bad-ass orc warrior! Killin, drinkin, treasure huntin, brawlin, and just roaming around looking for fun stuff to do! I prefer 1-handed, but you could argue for 2-handed as well and use a battle axe.

I played Oblivion for a little then stopped. I then got Skyrim and I have over 5,300 hours. I'm back to playing Oblivion but I want to come back to Skyrim. I have only played 5 minutes of Morrowind and I hated it.

Bosmer Female

Hunter Vampire, tries to be the best in the day by moving everywhere and never stay a full day in cities in fact dont even sleep in cities just sleep in the wilderness at night you can go into cities (BUT NO ONE CAN SPOT YOU) and feed on the persons that are sleeping if you are somehow spotted Get out of there!

Goes to cities only to sell and buy and acts normally and try not to go into the same city always

Avoid also walk in the night unless you already fed (Feeding blood only works for 24 hours then you have to feed again or dont walk in the day)

Light Armor (use Perks) (never a very strong armor)

Archery(use perks) (long bow, Hunting bow, Ancient nordic bow. Never Higher)

Sneak (Use Perks)

Alchemy(use perks)

Illusion(use perks) or Conjuration (use perks)

use a steel sword or dagger (do not duel wield and use only one) But dont use perks in One-Handed

takes only gold of bandits

Creat whatever backstory you wish

The other day I made a thread about random RP character generating.

http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1474473-random-rp-character-generator/

Maybe you can find some sort of inspiration from something in there.

also, I made a character with an alcoholic character flaw, and its actually pretty fun.

He's a coward for the most part, he completely concerns himself on making coin so he can buy his next drink.

he wears clothes, and light armor boots and gauntlets (staying away from the actual armor looking stuff: IE elven, glass, etc) with no hat/helmet and a dagger

he uses alcohol instead of stamina potions.

gets alcohol from basically anyone he can and drinks it all the time.

he only usually finds himself doing quests when he needs to make more money, or when he feels that he's in danger if he doesn't (the no back-bone thing). He really only embarks on these quests or engages in combat when he's drunk, or else he wouldn't be able to justify putting his life in danger.

i dunno, the coward drunk has been a fun roleplay so far. I think he may find out he's a bit better at this adventuring stuff than he realizes and he might decide to be a sell sword (but i wont change his gear). Also considering enrolling him in the Bards college.

Ever tried a "wing it" build? I mean just do whatever you think is perfect for the character you choose.

Play as an ancient Ayleid Sorceress.(Altmer with darkest skin tone possible, dark brown/black hair) Give praise to both the Aedra and Daedra equally. Use an Elven Warhammer(Eagle symbolism on it is perfect) and Elven Armor. Dawnbreaker could also be used if you like one-handed or Umaril-Meridian connection inspiration.

Be vindictive towards humanity.(especially Imperials) You gave allegiance to the Imperials of old in return for vassal-ship. Praise be Malacath for his vengeance. The Alessian Order broke their oath. Bring forth retribution for your people.

Don't worry so much about the "build"; create an interesting character (in your head) with a good backstory. Then create the character in-game, and let the "build" evolve naturally as you play.

You've RP'd Ulfrics' daughter, so why not Tullius' rebellious daughter? As the race in TES is determined by the mother, she needn't be an Imperial.

How about an Altmer? Thalmor spy/double-agent? Could be fun... Elenwens' younger sister, maybe?

What about a relative of one of your favourite previous characters, who comes to Skyrim looking for them? (They wouldn't be Dragonborn, so no MQ).

Forsworn conspirator (Breton): kill as many nords as possible (including Ulfric, obviously) and disrupt the Empire as much as possible (join Dark Brotherhood).

Power-crazed Nord who wants to ally with the Dragons to conquer Skyrim, before destroying the Empire and the Aldmeri Dominion in order to establish a new "Dragon Empire".

Travelling merchant who's looking to establish a real estate empire in Skyrim: absolutely no crafting/enchanting, only selling items you find or "acquire". Gain ownership of all the available houses, and build all the Hearthfire homes.
