Need to take a look at these bots.

Alright, I had another thread saying the bots are very strong and such, but on hard difficulty it is just plain ridiculous. I have friends that have Brink, but they always have enough people with them so it is only me and one other friend with me going along the campaign on hard. Well alright we had A LOT of trouble through the first half. It was shear luck getting through it. Now I'm just wondering why are these bots so horribly strong? They can be taken out easily with one clip of really any gun depending on your play style, but I keep getting one shotted, horded, and demolished at the sight of a single bot. Just wondering if they are too strong at the moment, maybe they are supposed to be that hard, or maybe something I'm doing wrong? I know how to do objectives and what not by the way, every time I try to do an objective I get stopped by one single bot when there are tons of my bots around and they get taken out by that single bot. This isn't a complaint this is a question for the community of the Brink forums.

Also, love this game.

Those BOTs are very unfun to play. You're team is like the most [censored] group of BOTs ever made vs bots that go for obj.

I even had a multiplayer match where I was standing around a crowd of the other team in a disguise and a bot ran into the middle of the room and threw me ammo and [censored] me over. Like coming out of left field to give me ammo...

This is a distinction I want to make very clear..... it's not that the enemy AI is too good, it's that the friendly AI is too stupid (maybe except for the medic) . Even then I think it is just a matter of getting over that learning hump with practice and accumulated XP. The more you unlock for yourself, the easier and more fun it becomes..... trust me.

I agree. :] These are the worst bots ever. Worse than Gears 2.

I find that friendly bots can't uproot an entrenched enemy bot group. It simply will not happen. All forward progress I make in single player is due solely to my flanking the enemy and mowing them down before they reach the area where my guys are constantly getting gunned down until they can move up and aid in securing a location, THEN I go for the main objective. I'm literally playing campaign mode like I would any campaign from CoD on the veteran setting: flanking maneuvers and blitzkrieg tactics.

In hindsight, that's how one is expected to play online as offense.

It would also help if 5 of my team mates weren't ALL huddled over a single CP attempting to capture it for every moment it does not belong to us. ****ing stupid!

The intelligence and shooting skill of friendly bots needs to be improved to the point where they can carry themselves more on par with the enemies. I don't want to have to feel forced to do the primary objective all the time and might want to support doing secondary objectives. It happens sometime, like the AI might hack the mainframe all by themselves but they could still stand to use an improvement.
