I need your help to win a bet!

Post » Sat Jun 12, 2010 4:54 pm

O.k. 10 bucks is on the line between me and a friend. As I can't give away my side for fairness I must leave out any clue as to what my take is.

Here's the deal:

Should a roll of toilet paper be positioned so you pull it over the roll or under the roll?

Thanks for your help! I'm looking for at least 51 votes (extra one is for the tie breaker)

If this violates any T.O.S. Mods, please delete without resistance.

If this does end up getting deleted due to the gambling nature, you know you could just leave that part out and make a simple poll.

I vote over btw.

Just came back from staying in a Hotel.

Over, and with a silly point on it that I can't understand the point of.

Whatever position it happens to be in after I hang it, is the position it stays in.

This subject desperately needs a poll.

OP can you please add a poll for this.

Definitely over. It's easier to use that way.

Under. My mom has cats. If the toilet paper is over, the cats can unroll it. If it's under, they can't.

Over the roll of course. Looks better and you can fold the corners of the last square into a point, like they do in five star hotels. http://lasvegasblog.harrahs.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/courtesy_fold_332w.jpg :foodndrink:

hmmm.. the bathrooms in the building where I work use these huge rolls, mounted on the side, so they're both under and over, depending on whether you are a lefty or a righty.

I like the Shakespeare range Charmin have at the moment. A different play on each. You can educate yourself and maintain personal hygeine at the same time. Just last night I had a curry and later managed to get through the entire second act of The Tempest.

In this case, you have to go oever the roll or else the text gets reversed.

OVER. It's a pet peeve of mine, when it's under. :P

I think it's a guy thing, since most women put it under or leave it over by accident. Most women think this is a non issue, but I find it has to be over. Same should be for paper towels as well but not as a big deal as toilet paper.

Now in my house we have it free standing so we don't have these issues no more. :D
