NEEDS A WEAPON DLC!

Crysis 2 needs to release a new dlc for weapons, Attachments, Modules and weapon camo.. because i think its lacking weapons and camo, since there is only one camo which is for the scar.


Imagine if they would release a dlc for xbox that has like atleast 6 new weapons 2 of em is assault 2 is smg and 2 is snipers, wouldn't that be awesome?

The game has plenty of weapons that don't get used as of right now. I won't have the assessments finished when Crysis 3 comes out, do people just post here because they have thoughts?

They need to add more incentive to keep playing past lvl 50 if they are going to do anything. Who wants to get 30k kills for 2 dog tags & some camos?

whats the point in making 30 weapons when eevery1 will use like 3 for example every cod ..
then some ppl wont buy it anyway

cod has crazy amounts of weapons, its impossible to set up every class with every attachment combo. Its also their fault for making certain guns unbalanced. It only forces ppl to use that certain unbalanced gun.

In regards to crysis 2, if they can make maybe 2 extra guns for each class including seconday it would be pretty cool. Or, maybe not all guns, but included attachments in the pack as well. Right now the combos are limited. No silencer on the S.C.A.R!!!!! why!!!!!!!

OK i do agree that secondaries need some love. Having only two "real" choices in the secondary category is lame. The other two are just garbage.

Yes i agree more weapons, why not a good ol sawed off double barrel shotgun with some kill power for a secondary weapon when you ambushed and dont have time to reload? Im smilin just thinking about it

You are forgetting the story here. It's Military grade weapons & sci fi maybe 10 years from now weapons. The world still has plenty of funding, so a sawed off shotgun really doesn't fit the game.

More attachments and more guns just jumble it up. Other games have far too many weapons that do not get used like several people have said on this thread. The scar doesn't have a silencer because you get access to it for the Scarab at lvl 27.

There is really nothing good that can come out of adding weapons. Sure there could be some cool ideas, but there are weapons on the singe player that are left out of mp as is. Not saying they wont make a weapon DLC, but before they do that there are 100 better uses if development time, and my opinion is they should focus on incentive to keep playing. 6 months from now I need to play 1 game for anachievement, thats it. Getting the dog tags I lack seems like a huge waste of time now that I've prestieged 5 times

I dunno. I'm 5th reboot lvl 44. I haven't been playing for a week or 2. I'll start with the new DLC this weekend maybe & let you know next week.

I highly doubt it, just because they have a lot of glitches in the completion / unlocks department.

You guys ever play Counter-Strike? That game had plenty of weapons, yet everyone just seemed to use the M4 and the AK47.... and nobody ever complained about it.

NO NO NO NO NO NO. Shotguns svck, and that's exactly how I want them to stay. They RUIN shooters.

The Urban Camo for the SCAR comes with the limited edition copy of the game. You get CELL camos when you reboot for different weapons, but they are all black/white. I have never actually saw the Urban Camo change the appearance of my weapon, but the cell camos are noticeable, especially on the hammer.

I dont know if you guys noticed, but the Hammer is identical to the RUGER P345D .45, and if my memory serves me correctly the nova is a Beretta M9 (open slide). Amazing attention to detail on those 2.

Well both shotguns already are OHK at close range so an extra one would be redundant other than for visual. Also if you missed with a sawn off then you would be killed before reload, you would be better off with Jackal or Marshall that we have already.

To be honest, i think Crysis 2 has enough weapons available. I don't see the need for a weapon dlc. However, i would love to see a singleplayer dlc for crysis 2

Lol if you would like to take the risk of using it then your choice... but I think someone else said it would fit in with the futuristic enviroment.
