First off the marked word is supposed to be "really devoted fan".

And secondly, it kinda is Oblivion with guns. :shrug:
Sure it's a new game but... They basically just took what oblivion was and repainted it.
Doesn't mean that the game is bad or that Bethesda were lazy or anything but saying "Oblivion with guns" isn't completely wrong either.

Really Devoted Fan svcks as a generlization. Fandom has Fan Boys. Did that one strike a chord with you, Gabe?

90% of this thread is true. I also expect to see a tonne of single word "No" posts because after the first 2K topics about the same thing people get tired of explaining why. Or even outright Copy/Paste posts

Indeed. Because as Forum Dwellers, it goes against our nature to just ignore inane and pointless topics. We see the bad thread, and we know we should ignore it because we know it will only end in blood and tears, but we can't. Our Forum Instincts tell us we need to put our two cents in...That's how threads that feature the sentence "What do you guys think?" or "Please post your opinions on this subject" get more than a hundred comments.

Got another one that was very prominent when F3 came out:
"Hi, how do I put my gun away. Manual says press R but it only reloads and then noting happens. I have to go into the Pipboy and unequip it. This sux"
And
"It's too dark! I need a light! Pipboy? The Pipboy has a LIGHT??? Seriously, how lame is that!"

i wish you could kill children, i mean its not a sadistic thing like "I WANT TO KILL IT ALL!!!!" its like why put them in a game that will probably get banned in australia anyway?i mean be honest even with out killing children and being able to shoot people in the nuts in VATS its still gona get banned in aussie land when they realize that half the stuff in the game is a refrance to seriel killers horror books and 1960s ficiton...

That's why I love being an American...Where movies like Hostel and Saw can find acceptance, and no one see's anything wrong with it. We are truly being slowly devoured by an ammoral universe.

Why? Bethesda isn't developing this game.

Bethesda acquiring the fallout license has obviously hindered the elder scrolls series...plus I threw that comment out there because I see it a lot on the elder scrolls forum section.

I will have to avoid these threads post-launch or I'll end up getting warnings for flaming people. :toughninja: I hate whiners and bogus complaints, and being free from employment at any of the game houses, am free to trash all who whine without cause or who are just idiots.
