I have a question I'm looking around on your Dutch/German site looking at pages with google translate trying to find some new information. I was looking at the story's page which I thought it would be like a tales from the dev's or something but when I translated the text while mistranslated I could get the gist of it I figured I'd "contribute" to googles translation as I thought I could make it make more sense but I was wondering if I got the translation even half correct after i do this I'm going to try my hands at making the story's make more since.

(Hope this makes sense to you guys.)

the original text goes as such

Geschichten in B?chern sind die Essenz jedes Rollenspiels, verleihen sie der Welt doch Lebendigkeit und eine Geschichte. Sie k?nnen den Spieler ?ber Stunden hinweg besch?ftigen, indem sie einfach eine fesselnde, nachdenkliche oder witzige Geschichte erz?hlen, oder aber vielleicht Hinweise auf einen versteckten Schatz, ein neues Abenteuer geben.

Mine is
Stories in books are the essence of each role playing game, giving the world a sense of vitality and a story. You can give the players hours of enjoyment, by simply adding a fascinating, thoughtful or funny story, or perhaps evidence of a hidden treasure, giving a new adventure.

Does anyone know why I keep getting an 'expression error, Unable to find cell id vivec, arena in script brerasScript' error box every time I click on a NEW game in the English translation of Arktwend?

I've followed the instructions. I take it you need Tribunal and Bloodmoon to play?

Remove better bodies. :P

Happened to me too.

I just can't wait for the English translation, so can I just bump this to gain some more popularity?

I'd say the translation was not that bad. I changed some details however to make it clearer ;-)

Stories written in books are the essence of each role playing game, adding depth to the world and making it feel alive. They can keep the player busy for hours, just by telling a fascinating, thoughtful or funny story, or by giving clues about a hidden treasure or a new adventure.

Nehrim is going to be awesome! I am really loking forward to this, you guys have done such a fantastic preview of your work so far...wow! I was wondering also, would it be possible for mods to be done for Nehrim? I am assuming it would be the case.

Keep up the great work!

Can't wait, just hope you guys decide to keep the German voices and add subtitles for English (If you plan to do translate it). I think that's much better than revoicing it in English. Plus, German would add a whole new layer of feeling to the mod

Yeah I agree, just as long as the translations arent 'sloppy' and people end up speaking absurdities.

It's Nehrim's 3rd Birthday!

Three years have passed since Nehrim's development began - a long time, but it was a time productive enough to finish a very big part of the project. The Main Quest, containing of 35 parts, is nearly completely implemented, just the big finale has still to be done. Also the German voice acting has already begun and is making good progress.

Some facts in numbers: At this point of time Nehrim contains

  • 827 scripts,
  • 6318 Exterior cells,
  • 1310 Interior cells,
  • 371375 World objects as well as
  • 106 books and notices.
