nehrim+obge ?

Post » Sat Nov 27, 2010 12:25 am

hello folks

i've started to use nehrim and it's awesome (really really awesome)
but i have a problem when i want to use obge with it (i think it's obge)

every transparent objet like ray of light and spider web hide my character when walking past them
it doesn't hide monsters only me

i use two shaders :
Godrays.fx (doesn't work)
CelShader+EdgeAA.fx (edge aa)

i have two screens to show you my problem =>

thank you : )

You are not being hidden it is just that OBGE accentuates a vanilla issue.

Try loading that same area without OBGE.

Then try loading a similar scene in Oblivion with OBGE.

allright i've tested without obge and it seems that it's the problem
because without it those spider webs are as they should be now

what can i do to prevent that thing and keep obge running ?

You can't it is the effect of the shaders and are there in when using Oblivion too.

it is not a Nehrim issue and it is an OBGE issue.

You could try bringing it up in the OBGE thread, but considering the fact that there has been little to no activity with it recently it is highly doubtful anything would or could b done.

There are many other graphical anomalies that can and do occur with OBGEv2, this however is minor and not at all game breaking.

This is shadeMe's update posted on the first page of obge thread, I guess Nexus lacks this one.
