Did anybody else notice that the voice actor for Pete at Nellis Air Force Base can't deliver his lines for the life of him? It also seems like Obsidian went with the first attempt or something because really, it's very off-putting.
I'm in the middle of a conversation with him as I write this and so far I've encountered four instances of the actor completely misreading/misunderstanding the lines.

"Imagine - you're the first outsider to..." - Read as "Imagine you're the first outsider to" taking it from an observation of interest to a non-sensical land of make believe.
"Very knowledgeable for a sav- Outsider." is read as "Very knowledgeable for a Sav, outsider." taking it from correcting himself over habit to some silly nickname which doesn't even make sense in the dialouge.
"Atomic Warheads" read as "Automatic Warheads" going from something you might expect in Fallout's Pre-Apocalypse world at war to some fantastic new invention you might expect too, but doesn't even exist in-universe.
"Shot down 500 Chinese Xian-85 fighters" read as "Shot down 500 Chinese. Xian-85 fighters." Sounds like he had the first part right and they had to teach him how to say Xian and record it separately.

Come on Obsidian. I know he's just a kid but don't let him have every muck-up he makes :glare:

Really? I'm a voice acting snob, and I found no problem with his voice. Maybe because I just don't care about one kid from a place I'll never go to again.
