Nellis Convention

Imam the 2nd-Great Khans

*Imam nods his head slowly and confers with his body guard for a brief moment*

"The Khans appreciate the offer, and would like to work towards a joint effort of the Enclave Remnants and the Khans to help bring justice to these horrible villains. We are willing to reach a time and place for a diplomatic and fair trial, but if we cannot agree on anything then the Khans are willing to explore...other means of bringing justice."

President Sutler

*After the disappointment of the Mutants, an agreement being reached reinvested Sutler's faith in this endevour.

"Any and all means of bringing such people to justice are within our scope; be grateful that your War Criminals are still alive to face justice Khan, there's no worse feeling than knowing you've let this people survive."

OOC: But where would the tension be if we mostly agreed and compromised? Maybe it has gotten out of control but it is incredibly fun.

OOC: Trust me, no. I've dealt with it before with a Great Khans representative. It just lead to the convention getting out of hand.

OOC: Out of curiosity, has anyone not finished Lonesome Road?

Arclight808 - Chief of Operations, Group of Studies and Observations, Crimson Caravan Eastern Division

Since we really have no NCR ambassador, there's not a whole lot of issues I can discuss as the Crimson Caravan delegate. Our continued engagement in the Mojave rests mostly upon whether the NCR recognizes New Vegas as an independant entity. If New Vegas is considered 'hostile', our hands our essentially tied, as we will not violate any sanctions, present or future that the NCR senate may pass. But if we are allowed to continue our operations in the Mojave legally under NCR law, I have a few questions for the ambassador from New Vegas. Of deep concern to us, and most people in the NCR is the security situation in the Mojave. Our troops first entered the Mojave over thirty years ago to punish raiders who were striking across the border, and since the NCR withdrawal from the region, the shareholders have gotten a tad bit antsy about whether our caravans will be able to operate despite higher security costs and casualties. We would like the ambassador from New Vegas to shed some light on the situation.

You can be accepted into Arizona to operte, under the rightterms ofcourse.

OCC: Its fun to a point, but it usually leads to people having "bang I shot you!" "Nuh uh! No you didn't" sorts of fights. Best just to keep it to a minimum.

Captain Conners- Boomers

Do you have any medicinal drugs? We have been running short of those.

Imam the 2nd-The Khans

"Of course, though we don't produce them as much as our 'other' drugs. But I am sure that if the right deal were to be negotiated we could bump up the production and shipment of medical supplies."

*Imam turns to his body guard and hands him his memo for the NCR War Crime. Looking at him confused the Body Guard takes it and puts it under his vest. The Body Guard continues to look confused and Imam simply states*

"It can wait."

OCC: Whoops Enclave ninja'd me. Well I think I will just let the War Crime proposal take a back seat. >_<;

The Courier-New Vegas

One can never be too careful. I've dealt with your people before.

No offense, of course. You are a lot easier to deal with than Caesar was.

That's why he's dead and you're not.

OOC: You shouldn't know his name, unless there's a specific roleplay reason that you do.
OOC I am a Centurion in the legion, ofcourse I know this traitor.

It seems as if, obviously so, that the Khans and the Enclave have ignored me.

There is no intention of going on full-scale war with the NCR. The Khans have every right to pursue their list, but that is the extent that I am giving them.

Not sure how we feel like working with drug dealers savages. But if nobody else offers we can provide excess crops, plently of water, Biofuel, and if needs be some of our missile lauchers or services for any problem requiring things blown up.

Imam the 2nd- Khans

"Hmm perhaps there has been a miscommunication. I am simply proposing we try to arrange a time and place for a trial. A trial which by all rights will be fair and diplomatic. If any other meaning has been inferred, then, I apologize."

*Turning to the Boomers rep*

"I understand your reservations against working with us, however I do believe that we can provide a good amount of medicine for a portion of your Biofuel. Lets say, Forty units of Med-X, and Fifteen Stimpaks a month, for sixteen gallons of Biofuel a month? Of course the nuts and bolts can be worked out at a later time. So what do you say?"

*extends his hand*

Jacobstown - Neil

*Looks at Lobo*

I have a proposition for you, Lobo. Since we both represent mutant communities, and since we share common goals, I say we put our communities' past differences aside and forge an alliance. Marcus and Tabitha may have had their fair share of differences, but with Tabitha gone I don't see why the Mutants of Jacobstown and the Mutants of Black Mountain can't become allies. Perhaps we could set up a trade caravan to go between our communities?

Arclight808-Crimson Caravan

I appreaciate the offer, but first of all, we are liable to all NCR laws, and I am no lawyer, but I am pretty sure there's a law somewhere stipulating that we cannot trade with a country we are in a state of war with. Secondly, the logsitics of getting Caravans through two radioactive zones on both sides of the Mojave into Arizona is less than profitable at this point. Getting caravans into the Mojave is difficult enough as is, and we are still waiting on clearance to do that.

Mr. Kent- Westside Ambassador

*Mr. Kent walks into the room filled with people from all around the mojave pvssyring about all different issues, many stop and notice the man walk in wearing his dirty suit, he nods silently at the courier and sits down trying not to look to intimidated by everyone.

"Hi everyone, sorry i'm late, but i'd like to get right down to business if you don't mind, I come with a deal for the kings. If the kings and the rest of Freeside are willing to invest some funds in the Westside Co-Op, then we could give you a discount on goods grown there, and allow Freeside locals and NCR refugees down on their luck to join the Co-Op."

*Mr. Kent quietly sits down and takes a drink from his half empty wiskey bottle.

"And hinting at further arrangements which may occur should such a trial be non-forth-coming, entirely out-of-your juristication I might add; perhaps you should agree and assist us in having these men brought before a proper court if alternatives are not to your liking. This is after-all your convention, that the NCR have neglected to participate isn't down to us."

They always show up.... Fashionably late. It's their way of pretending to be professional. *Lets out a loud chuckle*

Launching an attack on them in your current state would be... unwise. Even with Enclave help.

I have a proposition to make. I need Vegas protected, and I need to spread out more alliances in the Mojave to prepare for a very likely, third Mojave war.

Any faction willing to help will receive large benefits from the Strip and will be able to partake and have input in the reforms I have been doing.

Perhaps the United Mojave States? No offense to the Enclave, of course. After all, they hold the title of "United States", don't they? *Laughs*

This would give individual towns and settlements recognized plots of land around the Mojave, and the ability to govern themselves with some input from New Vegas, while they can call for help from Vegas if they need it.

As such we would be willing to help in any way we can, be it providing medicinal drugs, economically valuable commodities, men, weapons, or whatever else you can imagine to help defend the Mojave should a third war spark."

James Turner - The Kings

* James turns a bitter smile toward the Omertà, letting smoke slowly escape through his lips.

"What can I say, I'm a funny guy.
At any rate, I've got the sneaking suspicion that the Kings are going to once again get the crap end of this deal, just as we did with the first renewal of Vegas. I need assurance that the King's School isn't gonna be turned into some seedy Gomorrah casino, and that we still make a profit at the end of the day."

* Turner's attention is shifted to the newly arrived Westside representative, whom he greets much more amicably, holding out his pack of cigarettes.

"Evenin' friend, cigarette?
Your offer's pretty good, I'm sure the King would be willing to invest a bit, though understandably we'd have to start with a small percentage of our monthly income. But hell, if it'll clear some squatters out of Freeside, I'm all for it."

Excellent, I knew the Khans would at least come around. I've been quite fond of your tribe ever since they cut ties with Caesar.

*Takes a look at his watch. It's been more time than he predicted.*

*Picks up his glass of drink and throws it against the wall to his left. It shatters*

The [censored] NCR couldn't be bothered to come here could they?

They are out of my jurisdiction, I know this. But after all, the wall of fire that now separates the Mojave from their lands was my doing, I assure you.

Jacobstown - Neil

"Now that Jacobstown is growing in population, I think it's time we stopped being so isolationist and actually started contributing to the Mojave. We can pledge support to you, Courier, and we can send armed Mutants to fight on behalf of the Mojave whenever the time comes for another war."

Perfect. The mutants of Jacobstown are much thanked for this offer, and your land will be recognized by the laws I will pass when I return to New Vegas.

I hope that I have made the point that I am NOT Mr. House. Ripping you off is not my intention, in fact, I have recognized Freeside as your territory, and I still will. In fact, it has become one of the more safer places to live in New Vegas because of your gang.

Joining the United Mojave group would even let others recognize your borders.

We don't have a lot to do with aircraft supplies, you will make more use of them I am sure. I have scavenged large proportions from the Divide, and Ulysses is still recovering more. We can set up a deal with you for them, in time.

The state of Nellis will be recognized.
