But what I meant was we are running short on WEAPONS, only a 5 year supply left. Will anybosy else trade with us?

The Courier-New Vegas

I'm done playing the fool. I can see that the Gun Runners, the piece that is left of the Legion, and Enclave have formed a side, and let me tell you this.

The Enclave may be recognized to some as the American Government, but I do not recognize them in this manner, and if they have sided with the Legion, a group who is to stubborn in their false pride to try to be reasonable, then I will stand against them.

I do not recognize the current administration of the Enclave as the "The more perfect union, the people comma we the", and as long as the Mojave remains free, they will not have to bow to the Legion's wishes. The NCR will be spared. (fyi the Khans have rights to pursue and deal with their list) Vegas needs them. The Mojave needs them.

I will not authorize full-scale war on the people of the New California Republic. It IS my jurisdiction. The Mojave, and New Vegas, are the wall between the Legion and the NCR, and if you, Enclave and Legion, chose to stand against me for it,

so be it.

*Spits in the floor, and leans back in his chair*.

That seem pretty harsh for a peace meeting. We need to compromise here.

James Turner - The Kings

*Turner's eyes flash for a moment, before a coy smile returns to his face.

"No, I suppose we wouldn't. All I ask is that Freeside is recognized as the Kings' domain, and that any future plans for the place has that sentiment in mind. That being said, I'll agree to play along with this whole United Mojave thing, provided the Courier sticks to his word."


*Turner leans back in his seat, taking another cigarette out. Just before he lights it, he pauses and then turns back to the Omertà.

"Although since you're offering, I've got something for ya. The Omerta's wanna set up shop in Freeside yeah? They can do just that if they let the Kings in on say, oh I dunno, 10% of their monthly profit. Not a lot to ask, think of it as property tax. What do you say?"

The Courier-New Vegas

The Legion have shown that peace is not as much as an option as I may have predicted with them.

*Matthews scoffs*

Property tax? You act as if you own the place Mr. Turner, we shall do no such thing.

How about you keep to your end of Freeside and we'll keep to ours? Never the two shall meet eh?

Don't trouble yourself over it. It's alright, Matthews. *Smiles* It's my job to make sure that you can do what you do without Legion or NCR interference. *Points at the Centurion*

OOC: Turns out I have a little bit more time left, but I am leaving soon.

*Mr Kent turns to the Omerta with a glare on his face.

"I said IF the Omeritas start getting any funny ideas about taking advantage of the locals then Westside is prepared to retaliate, and as long as that doesn't happen Meansonofa[censored] won't be making any visits to Omerita bosses."

*He turns his head to the Courier changing his expression from a glare to a smile.

"Mr. Courier, I have a little idea that might just help all of vegas. Well, After you got rid of those fiends over in South Vegas, those ruins are just sitting there empty, with all your money and fancy securitrons you could go on in and rebuild that area. You could rebuild those factories and businesses down there and start putting even more New Vegas citizens to work, now i'm not a fancy economist or anything, but this really put New Vegas out there on the trading market. What do you say?"

James Turner - The Kings

* Turner lets a laugh spill out of him.

"My end of Freeside is from our North gate to the Strip's north gate, and everything in between. You can do two things about that, pay the fee, or stay behind those walls and securitrons and continue on operating within the Strip. I don't think the Strip's expansion NEEDS to be headed by you lot does it?"

*Matthews takes a long draw on his cigar and exhales a puff of smoke*

Retaliate? With what exactly? A rag-tag bunch of gutter-rats? Half of them drugged up?

What an army you wield.


Hmm. How quaint. So the King owns Freeside does he now? Tell you what, there's quite a bit unused land by that old robotics corporation, we'll set up our little "shop" there. Besides, its not like there's much worthy real-estate in Freeside anyway.

"Fair enough. What's a couple more rats in that corner of the place anyway? Do what you like, so long as you don't disrupt the Kings manning the water valve."

*Matthews chuckles slightly*

My business doesn't deal in water, Mr. Turner. Although I find it amusing that the Kings place so high a value on a simple spigot.

Jacobstown - Neil

*Looks at the Sun outside and nervously taps his fingers against his knee*

"Well, seeing as how Jacobstown has achieved its main goal of being recognized by the Courier as a legitimate settlement of the Mojave here, I think I'm going to head out. Jacobstown doesn't have much interest the affairs of other factions of the Mojave as long as they don't attack us, and since no one has threatened to do that, I feel confident that I have represented us fairly here and that it is time for me to go.

*Neil stands up walks toward the door, ducking through it and then letting it shut quietly on his way out*

The Bull can never accept peace. They always need to jump at something's throat, keeps them alive, only thing that can hold them together...

Good God these are back again? I think I'll lurk for a while and see how this unfolds.

*Mr. Kent laughs quietly to himself

"You threats are pointless as you have already made a deal with the Kings, but I assure Westside will defend its interests if your actions call for it, but to conclude we are not looking for war as it would be very detrimental to this new independent city, but if war is waged I doubt that would be very good for business for both our organizations wouldn't you say?
