Nerevarine Vs. Dovahkiin

Post » Fri Jul 08, 2011 12:44 am

There are three parts in this post/poll. Who would win in a fight and if the Nerevarine could defeat the Dragons/Obliviion Crisis.
To those of you who dont know, the Nerevarine was the main character in Morrowind. He/She could not age and cannot get sick. Would the Nerevarine be capable of stopping the Dragon threat? Maybe he/she could've even stopp the Oblivion crisis. Also the Nerevarine went on an expedition to Akavir and never returned.... So yeah.. that's why He/she is not there in Oblivion/Skyrim
Give me your reasons why.

This is a tough one. Dovakhin has access to shouts.... I guess we will have to wait and see what kind of badassery Dovakhin can dish out when Skyrim hits.

Only reason he can't end the dragon threath is because he's not dragonborn, apart from that he'll kick everyones butt

I personally think that he would kick the dragon's asses so hard that they would run the bleep away

I think the Nerevarine would win.
I'm unsure if she'd be able to stop the dragon threat, but I don't really see why not. I'm 100% sure that she'd be able to stop the oblivion threat.

The Dovahkiin has Shor on his side. So I'd go with him.

Well Nerevarine can fly and cast any spell of any school while fliying (attack too) , he also had crazy enchantments on each piece of clothes/armor/accesories. Neverarine can also master all skills spells and weapons and create his/her own custom crazy spells i believe this is a bit unfair for Dovakhiin imo :icecream:

Shor?

Yes Shor. The other side to the Akatosh-Shor enantiomorph. The god that was behind the creation of Nirn. The first son of Padomay. The god of man, revered by the Nords. You know, Shor.

Also known as Lorkhan by the elves. And shezzar by the imperials.

I think Dovahkiin would win , he has access to some powerful shouts look at stormcal that's a higher level shout... But there are 3 levels per shout so think about dragon breath how would that end on level 3 meteor call?!

Ill go for Dovahkiin for this 1 ! :goodjob:

probably capable of ending the dragon threat. Oblivion crysis? What a joke, ofc the Nerevarine could do that. In her sleep.

Dovakiin is pretty badass though with those shouts and being part dragon and all so it is a close call.

Will the Nerevarine have used the fortify intelligence, fortify intelligence, fortify intelligence, make stuff exploit? And have a mark/ recall to the mudcrab merchant if things go badly? Then would easily get far enough to realise the guy with the muscles and the horned helmet that he/she had just butchered was the one in this prophecy, and maybe the world is gonna get eaten after all.

Considering the possibility of the Dragonborn being the Shezzarine, he/she would royally kick the Nerevarine's behind, all else being equal.

Shor vs. Nerevar is no contest. It's up in the air how it would actually work out, though; the entire concept's very metaphysical, very... mythic.

You know vs. threads aren't allowed though, right? Surreptitiously turn it into a "discussion of the comparative potential divine power of the player character in Skyrim's MQ," perhaps?

Are you kidding!?
Of course the Nerevarine will kick Dovahkiin's ass, just like he beat Dagoth Ur.

My Nerevarine can levitate and use spears. He can also use Hercine's ring to go were wolf. He also has Royal Signet ring. I think he could handle it.

This.

Also, Alduin vs anyone but Shor(almost), is no contest as well. Which is why I'm convinced the big guy will make an appearance.

Yeah, Royal Signet Ring makes you pretty much invincible, wear Moon and Star on the other hand so if he does kill you and puts the ring on he dies too. Fly around casting weakness to Magicka while pelting him with Ebony Arrows of Slaying, and he'd be a goner, along with his army of Dragons.
