v0.18 nerfed solo bosses.

Sigh...

I killed both on lvl 8. All I had to do was to be sure that all my equipment was level appropriate. I was killed by Gutsripper, but then I adjusted my strategy, equipped a bow and killed it easily.

With Dosha, I just kited her around and used CC. She could barely touch me. I didn't die against her.

Really, people, it is not that hard. You just have to stop and think about what you are doing wrong and try again.

The quest is listed as level 8. Then you should be able to do it with a level 8 character. Period.

How disappointing. You try to make a solo quest more than run from point A to point B collecting x amount of y and people complain.

I guess any solo play in an MMO has to be boring and dull, make it challenging and unique and this happens.

I'm a bit surprised at this myself. The 'trick' was mostly just 'don't stand in the red, hit after he charges'. It's not rocket science.

Intelligent, experienced people make bad decisions too. I'm not saying this is one, but just because they're professional developers doesn't mean they do everything right, no matter where they get their ideas from.

Yes, they are beatable with a lvl 8 char and there are many ppl have done it. So the ppl can not beat these bosses should re-think their char builds or strategies. You just can't nerf everything.

Exactly, face rolling [censored] isn't worth playing. Some of us enjoy a challenge.

Basically if a Boss is level 8 and you're level 3 you will be destroyed, most likely. If you're level 6 prepare for a fight, don't be surprised if you lose though. If you're level 7 then again prepare for a fight but your chances of winning are better than say 40%, and if you're level 8 then the chances of you winning are pretty good but it will be a good fight where you have to think. If you're 9 or higher than the chances are very good and probably likely that you'll win.

Difficulty isn't the point ... or it shouldn't be.

The point is disabling all but solo-only play in such instances.

Heck, make the bosses a hundred times tougher for all I care, but enbable grouping.

It's a solo quest that's meant to be a challenge. Like it or not a big chunk of game time in MMO's is spent doing solo stuff, be it pve, crafting, or exploring.

Enabling grouping for this particular solo quest would completely ruin the challenge and you know that so I'm not even sure why you bring this up.

If you don't like the solo questing don't do them, no one forced you to do this quest. Once you have the actual strategy down they are both quite easy to do.
