For the uninitiated, a http://images.uesp.net//d/d4/MW-creature-Betty_Netch.jpg is a levitating tentacle-sprouting jelly fish beast. They're raised for meat and other produce in Morrowind, and are according to lore hardy animals that can live in any climate.

a lot of people liked morrowind (i myself liked both though morrowind had more interesting armor) also riften is said to have a dunmer influence so why not bring back a few things from morrowind

Regional creatures are regional.

(And think about it.... swamp / lowland critters, things that thrive alongside big mushrooms. Just how happy do you think they'd be in the frozen highlands of Skyrim? Completely different climate. So no Netch, no Siltstriders, etc. It'd be just as silly to ask where the Ice Golems and Yeti are in Morrowind.)

Somehow I don't think Netches are native to Skyrim.

Hopefully there will be other more appropriate and very exotic creatures in Skyrim.

Maybe no Cliffracers, or Nix Hounds, or Alits, or Kwamas either.

But there could be Mudcrabs!!!
