No LaG at all on the PS3 in the Beta or the final release. We just played 7 hours of the MP on the PSN and all went smooth, we also played with people from all over the world :wink_smile:

why cant people just let this guy rant and move on ..why do you have to come back with comments telling him how he should shut up or whatever?..he has just as much right to complain as you do to be happy with the game..i mean he paid for the game too..this game is broken..people say be paitent..ok would you buy a car then wait a week or 2 weeks or a month before the salesman gave you the keys to drive it? what in the world is anyone thinking by paying for something and expecting it to work...all you Fan Boys get on here and talk about how good the game is..which granted its ok but its nothing to sing about..hell borderlands is better than this..at anyrate why dont you people grow up and learn to take the good with the bad..if you dont want to read his post then move on but if he wants to complain thats what the forums are for to vent ..not just to sing praises to a game that even the publisher and develpoers admit is broken..

The difference is that some of us are asking him to complain but in a mature constructive way. Not just say the thing is [censored] and that its all the developers fault. He isn't even trying to fix it or thinking that there is a solution.
So fine if he really wants to whinge so be it but atleast 50% want to help him and hes not working with us. So meh we've done our bit.

I guess your right but some people get just as angry about it as some are excited and happy..ive seen post where people go on and on about how they like the game but if anyone goes on and on about how upset they are about it ..well they should just shut up right then..lol ..oh well is what it is..

Thats generally because its a narrow minded view shared by few that doesn't try to fix the situation.
There are definitely [censored] but i find there is more of a legitimate reason to like than most posts about not liking it.

They could have got dedicated servers for consoles, worked fine for BC2. A server browser would have been nice too. Or at least a lobby. I do really love this game, but the lag makes it very hard to play.

1. Lag has nothing to do with the publisher.
2. You have a 50mb connection, so why don't you become a host? Of course, that has nothing to do with latency or system power, which determine in-game lag.
3. Have you tried a dedicated server? Mine runs like a champ with 8v8.

I get serious lag issues in about 2-3 games I play per night, and it's really bad lag as well. However I've said it before I love the concept of this game, and willing to go through the growing pains until they figure it out. SD just needs to patch things up also making patches doesn't happen over night. Most MP games always have issues because you can never gauge how an online game is going to work when it's released to the masses. Hence why you always see multiple of patches come out for any MP games in the first year. Look at blops that game still to this day as major issues with it's server and glad I traded that game in a long time ago. Lets hope SD does back up the community and updates this game with patches to make it more functional.

I would love to see some incontrovertible proof, via a traceroute, that the lag in the game is on the actual game server. I have yet to experience lag in any match. I'm willing to bet that most of these lag complaints come from bad DNS routing and people too ignorant of the way the internet functions to know that they don't make a direct connection to anything. In point of fact, aside from one lock up in a match, I have yet to experience any bugs or lag that I would consider game breaking. From all the complaints though you would think they packaged the lag on the disk. Of course as with any game like this the people who find something to hate about it have nothing better to do than come onto the forums and complain while the people who love it are probably playing the game so you always tend to see more negative than positive on any given game forum.

I believe they are actually trying to fix the lag for the 360, hopefully they do that soon if not I am sure it will be out with the dlc that is coming in june.

since i dont have the game but i do have halo my only input is what about your NAT settings or LAT whatever its called but that got rid of lag on halo for me <=/

They made an update like yesterday that fixed the lag... so yeah. The online is fine now. There's a map pack coming out in June. Seriously, you fail.

I swear some people shouldn't be allowed to pick up a controller or use a computer...
