So I've been playing Skyrim for a long long time now on the 360. But with characters I always ran into the problem that the combat was far from challenging and playing on Master which did gave some challenges became utterly repetitive because of the high high health of the enemies.
So after reading a threat on certain challenging build I decided to start over... again. and I must say it has been a blast. In all those years of Skyrim I never had so much fun with the combat system. Fights are challenging and adrenaline-like. High-level dragons are scary to come across and I just finished the Dawnguard Main Quest and both the Boss-fights at the end were the most epic Elder Scrolls fights I've -ever- had.
The jist of the build is to lower the difficulty to adept but also to completely ignore health points and armor skills when leveling up. It's a warrior build so no use of magic at all (besides the shouts). Healing only through purchased and looted potions, no alchemy, no restoration. I rely solely on Archery (sometimes some sneak attacks), smithing my heavy armor and using my Greatsword in close quarters. The combat is amazingly fun!
If the people who came up with this way of playing the game read this thread: a thousand times thanks! Never been more in love with the game
