Never had this problem before... Help?

So I'm running the Steam version of Skyrim, just finished modding it to my desire, felt that the Requiem overhaul mod wasn't to my tastes so I uninstalled it using the Nexus mod manager.

Now whenever I launch Skyrim, through SKSE or otherwise, it ALWAYS boots to the Skyrim vanilla launcher and does this: http://i.imgur.com/wZSBDvu.jpg

This wasn't a problem until I tried to uninstall Requiem. I removed all traces of requiem from the mod manager and the skyrim Data folder. Nothing works, this message keeps popping up and I can't get rid of it.

I've even tried uninstalling and reinstalling skyrim, both with and without Steam cloud saving enabled and the problem won't go away.

I'm really tearing my hair out here over this one, does anyone here know what to do and why this problem won't go away even though the source should be long deleted?

Addendum:It most likely has something to do with Requiem as even though I removed all traces of it through the mod manager and data files shows no signs of it still existing, when I load of up last save Requiem still appears in the MCM.

Try shutting Steam down, wiping out ClientRegistry.blob, and then starting Steam again.

How is it that this Requiem thing appears in your game after you reinstalled it? You must delete the Skyrim folder that is in Steam/SteamApps/common before installing it again. If you have SKSE, also remove the skse folder that is in MyDocuments\My Games\Skyrim.

Edit: Sorry, "load up last save": Requiem is stuck in your save, so either you carry on with it or your begin a new game...

- Deselect all mods you have subscribed
- Reactivate them one by one to find the incompatible mod.

- Unsubscribe ALL mods and delete all their content. !!! (Just unsubscribing is not enough.)

--------------

Check your Steam Workshop subscriptions by going to your Skyrim load page, clicking Workshop and then on the right click "My Subscriptions". Unsubscribe to each one of your Skyrim mods.

Then start up Skyrim's mod check screen (the screen you see when you boot before you open the actual game) and uncheck/delete/unsubscribe to all of your mods. Maybe you find some mods that are nort working properly. (or not working att all)

Normally you should be able to use mods again once the error goes away. !!!
