I never noticed this before, has anyone else?

I don't know if this has been discussed before, but I've just started a new game to try some alternative gameplay options.

I've reached the part wher I've killed the fist dragon, on walking back to Whiterun the whole screen shakes violently and like thunder and lightning there's a Shout something like "Ohhh Maaa Keem" I can tell you it made me jump, did anyone else notice this in their run through?

I wonder what it means in relation to the story? Does it signify the appearance of the Dragonborn perhaps? I don't know how I missed it first time, fast travelling may be the reason though.

It happens everytime. It is part of the main story.

I will not post any spoilers, so will say no more than you will find out soon enough.

Tell me you are joking? Please?

It says DO VAH KIIN ...you know...DRAGONBORN. Then when you go into the city EVERYONE is talking about it and then the Jarl and his buddies EXPLAIN THE WHOLE THING TO YOU and then tell you to go talk to the Greybeards......it is kind of the main quest.

Trollthesda I know about the greybeards and that, I just never noticed the ground shaking or DO VAH KIIN before and I've never heard any NPC's call me that, I've heard reference to me as dragonborn but not DO VAH KIIN while playing with the alt level 32 Mage I was playing.

Thank you all for your input though, I've gained a little more insight into the game.

I sometimes wonder if the greybeards abuse that power.

Yeah. I thought there was another dragon, and that it was coming after me to avenge its fallen comrade. I think I actually fired an arrow into the sky, even. <_<
