Somehow I've managed to play thousands of hours of Oblivion over the years and there are still things I've never done or am just now getting around to checking out.

• I've never completed the Fighter's Guild. Once I got as far as killing some rats, which apparently was not the appropriate response. I looked around for an Extra Comfy Pillow, didn't find one, so walked away and never looked back.
  
• I've never done all of the Daedric Shrine quests. I don't even know who all of the Daedric gods are, I'm usually just interested in Azura's Star and the lockpick and Sanguine's quest just because it's amusing.
  
• Told the Grey Prince about his lineage. I just felt so bad for the guy and sometimes it's better not to know things.
  
• I've never jumped off Dive Rock. I've seen videos. That's enough for me.
  
• I've never managed to not piss of Fathis. I don't care if he's a guildmate, he's just not in the right here.
  
• I've never played as an Argonian or an Orc. Or a Redguard. Or an Imperial. And I've never had a character who used heavy armor or two handed swords.
  
• I've never done anything with Battlehorn Castle. I'm pretty sure it's included with all the DLC stuff. It should be there... somewhere (?).

Things I've recently done, only because it's kind of bugging me that I've never done them before:

• Using alchemy to make a potion.
  
• Completing Umbacaro's quest. Heh... silly little man.
  
• Kill Umbra. (Not sure what to do with the sword now.)
  
• Found Mehrune's Dagger. (I paid extra for this?)
  
• Saw the Giant Mudcrab up-close and in-person.

And mod related - I've never seen Kvatch Rebuilt. I really, really want to see that... almost enough to go through the MQ, even if I have to close those gates by hand with the console just to get it done. (The planes of Oblivion are probably my least favorite part of the game.)

So what have you never done? Whether it's because your character has never stumbled upon it even though you know it's out there, or it's just something you avoid out of personal preference, what have "you never", in Oblivion?

I've never really explored the Imperial City Sewers.

DB quest line. I've never managed to create a character that I liked enough to play, who would still do what's required in that quest line. I've played thieves and pirates, but I find that I just don't like cold-blooded murderers.

- Found the giant mudcrab (Went to the cave, it wasn't there)
- Explored every cave/ruin
- Finished the Nirnroot quest
- Closed an Oblivion gate not related to the main quest
- Finished every quest
- Never used horses more then one time

I have never had a character that was a Kahiijt, Argonian, Bosmer, Imperial, Orc or Redguard.

The only two questlines, I haven't completed are The Thieves Guild and The Fighters Guild. Both were due to a glitch, at the very end, and I never went back. Other than that...I THINK...I've done everything else.

I've never...

-Attempted the Mehrune's Dagger quest
-Finished Shivering Isles (though I've entered and cleared one dungeon)
-Completed all of the Daedric quests
-Been a Vampire

And probably a hundred other things.

I've never, EVER done the Main Quest past that Mythic Down tomb one (Where you have to visit Palace and stand near a crypt for something)

And the only guild I've gotten the farthest in was the Dark Brotherhood. Got past the Purification quest (What a quest) but lost the character at the first dead drop.

Hmm wehen I first played Oblivion I had borrowed it from a friend and before I could get too far he asked for it back. But all these years later I bought it off him for ten bucks so now I'm back!

Anyways...

• I just made my first Elixir of Exploration and still looking for more Nirnroot
  
• Never found any of the Easter eggs besides the giant slaughterfish if that counts

It's amazing the fun you can have without doing any of the stuff that you're "supposed to do." My Wild Elf character is among my absolute all-time favorites, and she has never done a single quest, or ventured inside a city. She has never even talked to another person (she's a mute.)

found the secret bow in the Oblivion plane

I still don't get why he gets so offended that you say that. I just reported what I saw is all...

@ Mani= It was the WAY you said it; as if you were glad the guy was dead. Imagine your character sneering while he/she says it.

What have I never done?

#1- Completed Umbacanno's quest. Sure I found a statue and talked to the guy, but that was as far as I got.

#2- Found the Giant Mudcrab.

#3- Beat the MQ as any other race. They were always Imperials. My final playthrough, it'll be a Dunmer that'll save the day.

#4- Played as any other race except for Imperials, Argonians, and Altmers.

#5- The paintbrush glitch to get to the top of the Temple of the One.

#6- Started goblin wars.

#7- Never kept Rockshatter.

#8- Never met Farwil.

#9- Never did what Glarthir wanted and kill his targets for him. I would either kill him myself or report him to a guard.

#10- Never collected all the books in Cyrodiil.

#11- Never did the Malacath quest as an Orc. (He treats you differently if you're an Orc.)

#12- Never could figure out how to do alchemy.

#13- Never really played an archer. My characters were either mages or warriors.

#14- Owned every house in the game. My home was always in Bruma, even if my character wasn't a Nord.

#15- Purchased every horse in Cyrodiil. Sure I've owned horses, but I never went to every stable and bought one. My horses were usually from Anvil.

Same here. Arum was created to do the dark brotherhood questline, then he showed me his true personality and I was forced to admit to myself that I'll never be able to force a character to do something. I didn't even get halfway through the questline. Arum's a Knight of the Nine now. Suits him so much better than that horrible shrouded armour ever did.

Ohhh! You really REALLY need to try this...with a recent bounty on your head so the guards are after you. It's sooo spooky and much fun.

*I've never finished Thief Guild or Dark Brotherhood (although I'm probably gonna do so these next few weeks)

*Seen the "giant mudcrab" everyone is talking about, even though I've been in Greenmead Cave several times with various characters

*Fully explored several regions of Cyrodiil, including underwater areas.

*Found more than 4 or 5 Ayleid Statues for Umbacano with any game (I refuse to cheat on UESP or wikipages)

* Used any form of magics to summon weapons or armor

* used any of the game's Doomstones (other than a handful of times).

* had a character who relies on Blunt weapons except clubs (although my newest character, Lady Saga, is fond of her hand axe).

*played an orc or any beastfolk species

* too many others to list, actually.

I have never:
completed the main quest a second time

completed the fighters guild quest line a 2nd time

completed the DB quest line a 5th time

killed town people and saved the game after

... and everything else ive never done im currently attempting with my newest file like being a mage ...

I've never successfully completed the Molag Bal Daedric quest.

It's just too cruel.

The closest I got was with an evil character. Who ended up killing the Paladin. That failed the quest, but that was still good enough to do the Hermaeus Mora. Now that I think of it, I never completed the Hermaeus Mora quest. I started it once, with that evil character, but never completed it.

Same here. At the time my mind was set to complete every quest I got into, but this one was the turning point. From there on I chose carefully what quests I, or rather Lothran and I, should get involved in. I also never completed Sheo′s quest and I never stole or even bothered finding out where the fisherman in Weye kept his money.
