New animation? : V

So I started a new character and when I was escaping Helgen something new happened to me. In the burned down building, right after you hide under Alduin, I got knocked down and the camera entered 3rd person view. I thought I was dead but I saw my character get back up and dust himself off before the camera went back to 1st person view again and I was allowed to continue.

Is this something they have added to Skyrim in one of the DLC's? I have all of them and this is the first time it's happened to me. It was on PS3 btw.

Wow never happened to me before. Probably something that they added with the dlc's. Dont know really.. Wish that would've happened on my character as well

Though kinda strange how your character "dusted himself off" with having his hands bound.

A very common glitch. When I followed that Thalmor prison escort (the one that got killed by robber's gorge) on numerous occasions the Stormcloak prisoner somehow unbound his hands and a dagger appeared in his hands, after the fight his hands were bound again. Wtf?

It might just be me but I'm pretty certain that he dusted him self off (both arms dusting the dirt of his thighs off).

I've been knocked down before by Alduin, but never "dusted" myself off.

did you get in the building before alduin landed in the wall.
were you running ir jogging.

Just fyi, Alduin can use the Unrelenting Force shout at that part of the game.
Maybe that's what hit you?

I had that happen to me several times. And probably on the next five characters I made that day, so I don't know what triggers it (I've made more since then, but it hasn't happened in a while). When the PC falls you can clearly see their hands aren't bound

My very first character, on 11-11, was taking in the scenery and was shouted down, just outside the door to the Keep.

As a matter of fact, in a video that was released of a Demo run pre 11-11, the player had the exact same thing happen to them. Alduin FRDs you and it goes into 3rd person.

No arm dusting though...lol
