New Armor and Weapon Type:Vampiric

Post » Sun Apr 24, 2011 8:12 pm

So what about Vampiric Armor & Weapons ? i am sure there is gonna be Vampires in Skyrim

Some Examples of how it should look like

http://ftp.ubi.com/emea/homm5/screenshots/HOMM5_Necropolis_Creature_Vampire.jpg(Maybe without the cape ?)
http://www.andreas.blicher.info/images/Short_Sword.jpg
http://www.swordsswords.com/images/products/detail/Wanning_Moon_Skull_Dagger_Stand_1.jpg(Whatever you call it)

Those Weapons & Armor are just Examples/How should it look in your Opinion ?

I Really like some Vampiric Armor like when you join a Vampire Clan they will give you a Special Armor(When Joined) and Vampiric Weapons (Be Able to find it in Vampiric Hide-outs like those Daggers and Shortsword)

I Really want more Weapon & Armor types like Dragonic,Vampiric,Samurai Based Weapons and Armor and Bronze

More Weapon + Armor Types = More Styles

Outside of unique armour or weapons, theyre likely gona stick to the regular TES materials. Stick a life drain enchant on a Daedric sword and pretend its Vampiric lol.

Vampirism is a disease more then a culture, and it's specifically a disease you don't want people knowing you have so.. no.

I'm sorry, but if the "vampire" armor looks like the armor you posted, I will go through great lengths to make sure I'll never see it again...

This. It'd be better applied to Dark Brotherhood assassins if anything (excluding the armor).

Not necessarily. Of course no one's gonna walk around with a sign saying "I be a vampire.", but a "secret society" of vampires could have something like that. Maybe a vampire in the upper-class (Think the guy who wants you to collect Aleyid statues in Oblivion, but with more vampire.) is funding them.

I'm not saying it should be in, just that it could be in if they felt like it.

And of course it goes without saying, they'd do a much better job than me. :P There's a reason I'm not getting paid by Bethesda to write quests.

Ability to add Absorb Health to weapons when Enchanting them? Sure. Otherwise- :meh:

And without the goofy-looking cartoon armor.

Sooo...Morrowind Daedric weapons = "Dragon" weapons, and http://www.starstore.com/acatalog/chronicles_riddike-minibust.jpg = "Vampiric?"

There are various cultures of vampires in Tamriel. Only two fits in the secret society. The Order and the Montalion. The latter being public while the Order remained a secret order that very few know about. I don't think they would risk exposing themselves with armor such as that to fight their battles. While it's possible, it's just a no.

I don't think vampires need their own armor, if they did it would probably just be camouflaged for their homeland, like white for snowy places. If they did put clans back in, like in morrowind, maybe having an item enchanted by them, or a clan insignia for your armor/shield

Are you going to make a new thread every time you think of a new type of armor?

Apparently this guy is a fan of the absurd over-the-top fantasy style, based on the armor pictures he's posted.

Based on "thus far," I'd say probably so.

We've got at least two more coming, "Samurai" (Which I expect to be full of "Bleach" screens for "what they should look like") and "Bronze" :

Only thing is Vampiric isn't a material. I'm all for a Vampiric Steel Longsword that looks like a vampire's blade, though.

Heh.
Maybe we could use fire to turn the ash and dust into some sort of relatively hard substance suitable for armor.
