I have just started a Breton Battlemage born under the Lord and i wondered if you could give some ideas on RP-ing. Type of equipment, guilds, good/evil, anything you can think of really.
Class(pre-made):
Magic
Strength and Intelligence
Blade
Blunt
Alchemy
Alteration
Conjuration
Destruction
Mysticism

You could RP him as a Upper Class type guy, looking down on beggars and anything like that. Rarely going to the IC Waterfront, etc. Probably living in Skingrad.

Obviously I'd have him join the Mages Guild, as they train Battlemages. Then perhaps the fighters guild to prove himself.

Anyone got suggestions on equipment? I am thinking maybe ebony armor, but I'm not sure.

battle mage, i always imagined that the mages guild uses them to hunt rouge conjurers and illegal necromancers. I'd use a 2hander, since you don't have block, and as for armor, maybe legion armor like the battlemages at the mages guild. Enchant all your apperal and armor, and walk around with azura's star to recharge it. Maybe a silence enchantment on your blade or something

I like the concept on this one quite a bit. Maybe combine it with the otther post? Having a noble-born battlemage that hunt rogue mages for the guild sounds kinda cool. Any other suggestions are welcomme

I think you've got enough of a basis to start playing, Tdroid. I quite often find that once a general idea has been built up, the character tends to come to life as you play the game.

I'm sure he'll develop quirks as he journeys through Cyrodiil.

Is this your first time RP'ing? Because if so, wow, you're in for a surprise. There's so much depth to this game that many players miss (I myself being one of them until not long ago).

Have played a lot of Two Wolrds 2, Dragon Age: Origins and Mass Effect 1 and 2 the last year, so I haven't had much time to try it out. Before I joined this forum the thought didn't cross my mind. It is fun so far, but wanted to try something else than your average paladin type RP, so the battlemage came to my mind

Ah, well good luck! It's an odd feeling growing attached to a videogame character, but I find it just happens.

You can say that again. Growing attached to an alien you don't even know how looks without her suit is kinda wired.

I had a Breton Battlemage once. He was bald and mean looking.
Heavy armor. had a sword, but mostly used magic like destruction, especially electric, and conjuration.
he was kind of an [censored]

I would say get that white version of ebony armor... it would fit...
