Hrmm... the lack of information is really starting to go a bit long. This podcast unfortunately did not fill the void. I wish they'd release a trailer. We could happily talk about the trailer for a month.

It looks like it's ready or close to ready, because Hines told he have already seen it ((?)AFAIR). Anyway, I guess we'll see a trailer pretty soon, but I don't expect any gameplay, just some epic cinematic thing

He saw a work in progress trailer. He also tweeted a while back that he saw one for Skyrim that gave him chills. So he's been seeing trailers for a while now.

Didn't Todd say that we would see a vid 'soon' (or something to that effect). E3 is in June time? I got the impression from what Todd said we'd be getting one a little sooner than that.

E3 starts June 7 so it's a little more than three months away. I don't think that is too far off from a video.

Is it just me or... do you guys also think that showing the first real video (whether it's trailer/gameplay/etc) of Skyrim in June, is ... very late, considering the game is released in November?
Trailers (or gameplay videos, or anything) are usually released like... a year before the release, or close to a year?

Indeed. But Skyrim was announced with less than a year to go. I know it's before E3, but I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a gameplay trailer in March.

Oblivion trailer debuts at E3, May 18, 2005. Slotted for release November 22, 2005 = 6 months prior to release.
FO3 trailer debuts on GameTrailers TV E3 special on July 12, 2008, full version released two days later including gameplay.Game released on October 18, 2008 = 3 months prior to release.
FO:NV trailer debuts on GameTrailers TV E3 special on June 11, 2010, Game released on October 22, 2010 = 4-5 months prior to release

According to Pete the first game play will drop in a month with an "r" in it and unless that is September then it will be in March or April. = 8-9 months before release.

Going by that timeline it seems Beth likes to release the trailer around five months before release. E3 is five months before Skyrims release so it's likely.

Probably around E3.

The new site will definitely be up far before E3. Gstaff said it would be soon... But we don't know how soon.
