New BIOS from ASUS will solve DX11 issues on the GTX570.

ASUS have released a new bios update for their GTX570 cards. See more here. This is the second manufacturer who have released a bios update for the GTX570 - I think EVGA is the other one but I'm not 100% sure. This confirms that the GTX570 cards sold with a factory overclock are underpowered. :)

Applying the BIOS update on ASUS GTX570 will solve DX11 crashes in Crysis 2 and other DX11 titles. Please read the info I have linked to above. :)

What a horrible situation to be in.

I'd hate to have to bios flash a video card like that.

Oh, and before anyone says "lol dude itz eesy", I've flashed many video cards before. Most of them were worth less than £20 at the time, and flashing was wise because the performance gains to be had were real and it outwieghed the cost of the card. But I tried to flash a radeon 4890 once, when that card was worth about £160, and I couldn't for the life in me get the bios to take and it became a brick.

If I had a card with a bios that was absolute garbage, I'd sell it, then get the same one that did have a proper bios. Even if it cost me £15-20 to swap them.
