I enjoyed reading the first book, but mostly because I was more interested in new lore, not so much the actual story or characters. If the book wasn't a part of one of my favorite videogame universes I'm certain I would have either hated it or not cared for it, mostly because fantasy books just aren't my thing. I'm looking forward to the second book for the same reason; I can't wait to get another glimpse into what's happened in the TES Universe since Oblivion. It should also serve to get me more hyped up for Skyrim, if that's even possible.
