getting an SLI capable mainboard doesnt make sense when youre trying to stay under a certain budget, dual setups dont pay off (even if you save a couple bucks at first the wattage will cost you more in the long run).
you definitely need a stronger graphics card than that, what budget are we talking about? cause those are mostly outdated/weak parts so far.
for the gpu the following criteria seem to make sense:
- should play crysis in high settings at the resolution youre planning to use
- doesnt have dx11! if crysis' dx10 mode was any indication (sorry crytek) dx11 in crysis 2 is going to be tiny unimportant stuff - heres where you can save a few bucks.
so theoretically i'd agree with a gt 2 series card, just not the 250. how about a 4890? check the price of that one and if it (or a 4870, almost the same) is cheaper than a gtx 260 BUY IT.
