I've been doing some quests and I just arrived in New Vegas. I think the NCR is hard core and I would really like to join them, now to the question, is there any way to join them and wear their equipment?

Their embassy on the south side of the Strip.

The easiest way I find to get their armor is to go back to the NC encampment across from Primm. There's two tents there, one witht he commander dude and the chick, and one that's empty. In the empty one there's an unlocked armor container that has NCR commander armor that has 10DT when fully repairs. If you want Ranger armor go to Novac and in one of the houses next to the dinosaur there's a guy who wears full Ranger gear, but isn't actually a ranger. I just kill him for that armor. You don't loose any faction standing this way.

Yes if you want to align yourself with the NCR then meet at the NCR embassy at the end of the strip by the vault place. Although don't knock the legion till you try it :woot:
