New character in the works

My Ranger is on a break, and I've pulled my dunmer mystic warrior in as many directions as possible at this point. Having played a bit of Dawnguard, I figured I'd have the perfect opportunity to create my Paladin/Undead Hunter character.

He is an Imperial (for Voice of the Emperor)

Name: Valleau

Skills: One Handed, Restoration, Heavy Armor, Alchemy (healing/cure disease), Two-handed (eventually maybe), Speech, and Illusion on the side for Courage spells

Will wear the gray/lighter color heavy Dawnguard armor, and utilize crossbows for ranged combat when necessary (BTW, it is damn hard to aim with crossbows and no crosshair)

I really wanted to use a mace, but Dawnbreaker is the perfect weapon fit for him, so what I did was create a steel mace that has the same enchantment as Dawnbreaker and I named it Mace of Disruption (good, eh?).

Will probably post some pics later. Any other ideas for a undead slayer paladin type?

I like Nords or Redguards for paladin types. Redguards however lack the magic component...then again, there were a few Redguard mages in Oblivion

Edit: Forgot to mention, I recommend increasing your restoration before anything else. Especially since Dawnguard has offensive Resto spells.

If you do not mind mods, there is a 2-handed version of Dawnbreaker that looks awesome and perfect for a paladin. Destruction might also be a good choice since Flame cloaks can be fun with melee characters AND fits with a Paladin.

I was thinking about the Sun spells as well. When you do get them? During the Dawnguard quest, or does the Resto chick at the College sell them? I am also currently training restoration at the moment. I spend a lot of time with Danica Purespring in Whiterun. WIsh you could marry her.

Oooh, that could be fun.

Link me!

Nevermind, found it! Thanks for the heads up.

I just wish I knew how to take the glowing hilt of the Dawnbreaker and add it to the mace head of my Mace of Disruption. THAT is what I really want, just don't know if it's possible. I asked in the mod section but haven't received a response thus far.
