Greetings i dont post on this forum at all but i had an urgent question and i didnt see any other topics about it so here goes

i have every DLC except for lonesome roads but i plan on getting it next week and today when i started up new vegas a message appeared at the start menu that said

"new content has been added you will need to restart in order to use it all unsaved progress will be lost" then i have an option to start over or keep playing what in christs name does this mean? elaborate please thank you

also if this post isnt under the right topic not related offensive blah blah blah and one of you mods decides to lock it down please give me an answer to this question before doing so

That's an odd message. The only reason I can think of for something like that showing up is if you were trying to play NV while downloading new DLC.

It shouldn't be a problem, assuming I'm reading it right. Just quit the game then restart it.

Dunno how it works on consoles, but there it should just be a matter of turning the console off then start int up again.

I'm pretty sure it did that for me on my ps3 any time a new DLC was realesed. I would just select to do the update and keep playing.
