I know there's a topic right below about a DLC that makes the game open ended and summer closed it because it had been confirmed there won't be - but has anything changed???

I know, stupid question, but I was just talking to my friend and she's insisting that she KNOWS there's a broken steel equivalent being released. And she's just this minute posted a status saying "eee new DLC for vegas, back to the mojave i go!".
I told her the developers said "BIG FAT NO" but she says "Well I saw them say there was."

She doesn't have a history of lying about dumb things. Am I just really behind or what??? :/

Edit: When she says "new DLC" she doesn't mean LR, she's already finished that. And all the others. *sigh*.

i say dont rule it out, the develops might make one if the demand is there we just dont know

After seeing all the hate that Bethesda took after closing off FO3, and how overjoyed everyone was to get Broken Steel. . . Obsidian still is sticking their fingers in their ears and going "LA LA LA LA LA LA!". No wonder they can't keep their studio from going bankrupt when you pay attention to your userbase like they do. Good thing gamesas owns the Fallout name and not them anymore.

Actually you might find the majority do NOT want a broken Steel type DLC. Judging by the fact that every discussion has five 'nos' for every one that wants it. Obsidian made an ending to the game that was actually meaningful unlike the limited one of Fallout 3 (Radiation will kill me, but I can't send in a radiation immune companion? Oh, now the game tells me I svcked, what happened to everyone I helped/killed/affected? Why isn't it telling me about them?)

I think it's those that want to play after the ending that have their fingers in their ears.....and their eyes closed as well judging by all those that miss the big pop up.


Obsidian have confirmed no more DLC. They also confirmed (long ago) no Broken Steel type DLC. They've already moved on, it looks like there won't even be a final patch.




Subjective. I wasn't overjoyed to have my sacrifice made worthless. I wasn't overjoyed to waste all my ammo on bullet sponges and I wasn't overjoyed to win the day and then be told to collect cameras and sensor modules.
