[nVidia] New Drivers Today 267.84

Post » Wed Nov 25, 2009 11:38 am

I posted in here because a vast majority in your little PC bubble fail to realize their is a tech support forum, which I should of posted here instead.

And I wanted to the message to get across, because it does help with flickering textures and flickering wet ground reflections.

P.S. Those that keep asking about DX11 remind me of the stupid little rabbit/bears in the HTC 4G Evo vs. iPhone 4.

Crytek Bear: "If you look here, Dx9 was able to have all the same lighting features, and many of the terrain mapping techniques improved by tessellation are there because we did it by hand."

PC-Elitist: "I don't care, I want the one with the bigger Gee Bees and the Wifis."

How about you read my post I linked too on how to be a PC player and fix it for yourself so it works. After all I did go out of my way explaining what you have to do to get it working, its the least you can do is to read it.

Unified Driver Architecture means its the same driver, just different device IDs.

I don't think the OP has a DX11 card or probably never ran Heaven DX11 Benchmark or else he would know that the Tessellation performance and visual quality is not something you can just do in DX9. Best DX9's got working for it is Parallax bump mapping, but thats not the same as DX11 at all.

OP's simply an idiot. I can tell by some of the letters and by seeing quite some idiots in my life...

You COULD read OP's labor of love, or just click here:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/nvidia-multigpu-SLI-profile-update-v7-driver.html
This profile is for the demo, but Crysis2.exe also then show up with a custom profile, and my SLI now works (2x460's)

AGAIN! that driver is for the 590 which no one has unless they work for a company who got it before today it was just released here in the us about 4 hours ago soo the likelyhood of someone actually having this card (average consumer) is VERY low. anyhow the 590 gets stomped in most benchmarks compared to the 6990 im NOT a fanboy of ati or nvidia guru3d review BOTH card in sli and crossfire x asnd the 6990 demolished the 590 in most test not all but greater than 75%.

You guys really aren't too bright.

Oh really?

3D Mark 11 Ranking:

Thats 20th in the entire world, and 6th place for dual-GPU setups. But hey, what do I know?

Any other idiots want to chime in?

Just so you know, Tessellation is just an easier and quicker way of what devs can do by hand.

I don't care if you use the drivers, or not, I was trying to give you some performance and help with textures (flickering). You can use it or not.

Sigh, you can install it on any card. If you know what you are doing... or you can wait till the official driver release in April, so you can install it without thinking. I don't care.

Because I am not dying for DX11 patch and am busy enjoying the game? I am entitled to think 90% of the idiots wanting DX11, have no idea even why they want it OR if it was in the game, what exactly would be different. Or do you just not know how to handle other people's opinions?
