New Faction DLC

Post » Sun Dec 11, 2011 8:05 pm

Well which faction would you like to see in a DLC or submit your own!

(assuming the DLC is a new faction focused DLC like Knights of the Nine as opposed to new location DLC like Shivering Isles/Morrowind expansions)

Bard's College. There could be quests that involved gathering unique instruments from dungeons and houses. There could be quests to visit inns and collect new songs and pieces of music from performers. Along similar lines, there could be quests to visit these inns and share the tunes you've learned with the performers who work there. That'd be suitable for DLC. If we were being really wacky, we could have an entire expansion devoted to this faction, introducing stuff like music creating magical effects and crafting of instruments (smithing). Just imagine wandering through a dungeon supporting your follower with buffs, playing your lute!

Dude there already are Bard's College quests. Only 4, but they are there. And I think one or two involve getting instruments.

I have a feeling it will be a huge expansion adding in Hammerfell and High Rock so I think it will add 2 new guilds.. A pirate warrior guild and Molag Bol faction

The Khajiit caravans could make for an awesome underground drug ring DLC.

Lol I was kind of confused by this too.

I wouldn't mind seeing a vampire clan DLC, but I dunno how it would work out...considering there is only one clan in Skyrim.

Or as an Thalmor agent. (restricted to elven races of course)

Something to do with The Thalmor, if not that, then add some vampire quests.

I can't believe people are already talking DLC. I wish I could spend half as much time playing as you guys to have already completed and seem it all.

If you listen to the vigilantes, you will notice that they also hunt werewolves and pretty much anything that preys on humanity. My type of group, they won't let me join though, no matter how much I follow them.

I would like to say The Psijic Monks, purely because the college questline was so short and dissapointing, but i think demon/werewolf/vampire hunters would be cool. Get some silver tipped crossbows and some Van hesling-esque gear. :3

Voted other: For becomming a dragon priest worshipping dragons, allying ourselves with them to take over skyrim and rule it like in ancient times.

Morag Tong. Dark Brotherhood is a joke, both Oblivion and Skyrim, never enjoyed it at all. Morag Tong was great on the other hand. Not some paid killers but a proper organisation.

I voted Psijic because they seemed interesting and I sorta feel we are left hanging at the end there. They could give us a set of quest to prove our hold of being Archmage or something lol.

I've always been a fan of the psijic order and what they do, so I was happy to finally get a glimpse of them in Skyrim. To actually operate as a psijic agent would be awesome, if perhaps lacking in the sword-swinging department (They're very much a political intrigue/diplomatic/espionage/sabotage group, assasination or direct confrontation is a flagrant violation of their code of thinking)

Since the Fighter's Guild isn't included in Skyrim, so why not have a faction for adventures/mercenaries with connections to either Imperial Legion or the Stormcloaks Rebels and in a direct/indirect competition with the Companions in Whiterun.

Even if both Morrowind and Skyrim has dwemer ruins in-game, but not a faction for archeologist's to collect, preserve, study and run a dwemer historical museum somewhere in the game world.

I vote Knights of the Eight(lol!) because back in the days of Oblivion, the infamy wipe mechanic allowed me to justify a Dark Brotherhood Listener that decided to atone for his/her sins. That, and Skyrim is just too much grey on black.

To be honest, any faction quests would be welcome if done well.
