So I just picked up Fallout 3 GOTY Edition from Steam, and every time I try to click "new game" it freezes, saying just: fallout 3 has stopped working. I'm running on Win7, can anybody help?

okay, i cant figure out how to get win 7 to run compatiblity for fallout 3
ive run it fine in the past, but bethesda support walked me through the process and now its to late to call,
can anyone tell me how to get it to run in compatibility mode?
