Hi,
I did a quick search of the forums and didn't see a topic labeled as this, so I am not sure if it has been discussed, and if it has please feel free to ignore.
But I was recently replaying Batman: Arkham City where they have this feature and thought it could be a good addition to the Elder Scroll series in the future, and was wondering what everyone would think if it were to be incorporated.
For those that don't know the "New Game +" in Batman is a feature starts you a brand new game but carries over upgrades, level, gadgets, etc. but in turn starts the game off at a harder level to compensate for the increased power in the player character.
Using Skyrim as an example I see it as when you activate the feature you select a character save and it puts you in an alternate start area where you keep your level, only the gear you are carrying, and perks but resets all the quests. Your original character save would be intact and remain but this would give replay ability and remove some of the grind in leveling if used. It would allow for some RP as well as you have an alternate start where all quests are refreshed and you can make a new story but already have some specialization/gear to the character.
Thoughts?
Edit: whoo incorrect spelling in the title. Is there a way to edit that?
