That's a ability that lets you go into third person when planting a bomb so that you're aware of who could be behind or around you.

I feel like this is the first fps this guy has ever played.........I mean I didn't expect him to be good being a new game in all but he just makes generally bad decsions and he has terrible aim

It's not a terrible idea. He seemed to mostly be fighting from well within SMG range. He never did make use of their accurate spraying ability though. :spotted owl:

Who gives a damn if he never hipfired? I know I probably won't, from gameplay it's no where NEAR as accurate as SD made it out to be, and only a small step more accurate than other games out.

THOUGHTS!

First, the weapon customization video from the same guy since it loaded first.
  • Tampa is surprisingly powerful for a piddly little SMG, might even pack the most powerful punch of the bunch.
  • Rokstedi is suprisingly weak for a weapon that's supposed to be semi-auto, appears to be the weakest AR.
  • No Snoop-R scope for ARs. :C EDIT #2: COGA looks sixy on a Rhett though. New fav mid-range setup.
  • EDIT #2: Disappointing to see Bulpdaun isn't one of the SMGs unlocked from the beginning.

Second, the 12-min gameplay.
  • AI seems REALLY stupid. Hopefully they scale in difficulty, 'cause this game is going to get incredibly boring with AI that dumb.
  • Loving the almost SOCOM-like teamwork and flow of the mission.
  • SMGs the player was wielding seemed very inconsistent damage-wise. I assume it's because of enemy body types and buffs, so it's good to see they actually make a difference.
  • Chokepoint around the last half of the vid at the top of the ramp looks like a total cluster[censored].

The bots he was fighting with/against were all on Easy difficulty. And I'm pretty sure the announcer was talking about two different command posts there...I think.

this. hopefully he was playin with easy AI. if not.... damn this is goin to be disappointin in sp.

Good to know. I'm not really the type to ever jump right into the hardest setting, but I'd like the AI to be more challenging than simply standing around half the time, just going "derpy derpitty derp". :mellow:

I plan on running a Heavy with 2 SMGs. One for combat/spray, one for precision/stealth.

Yeah, that AI just kinda scares me at how bad it is. When there are 3 enemies on the screen and only the player with both sides just watching each other it concerns me about the skill of not only the player but the AI. I seriously hope we can scale up their difficulty so they aren't fodder. It was odd that past weapon buffing I didn't notice any engineers and aside from one disguise I didn't see any operatives. Also, seeing the entire level along with how easy it is to stay at the front lines with a little skill, I think Heavies could actually drastically outweigh Lights on some levels in which agility will hardly be used.

To anyone contemplating wether or not to watch the video, watch it. It will not ruin anything, except for a few cutscenes that many of you have seen anyways. To me, it didn't satisfy my lust for Brink, it only increased it.
