yeah i saw that, seems like they've been way over-hyped in the health department

EDIT: wraith makes a good point about the location of the shots, the shooter was pretty accurate

which is good news, good aim will help so Heavy's won't be walking tanks

they prolly took more shots then the light and medium but it didn't take 100 clips or the like to do it which is good news

OMG, I hate flashbangs, too.

I see them all of the time in Modern Warefare....
....
...
.....usually because I accidentally always throw it right in front of me all of the time or it hits the wall or the doorway in front and bounces back at me (and I usually forgot to get away/look away fast enough). :stare:
And that is why I decided to never trust myself with flashbangs (or even some grenades) unless in extreme emergencies, lol.

Don't trust me with your flashbangs, Brink teammates, ever, lol!

If we play together I will make sure you don't blind us and get us killed. If you do flash us, you're on your own! Bye

Yes, a lot of exaggeration on both sides of the weight spectrum. Poor Medium, not getting hardly any attention.

All I'm hoping for is an advantage of health/firepower while sacrificing speed. Makes sense, and I'm used to it.
If it comes down to not wanting to play Heavy just because I get downed all the time and theres nothing I can do about it, I'll just go Medium. I'm serious.
Ive played too many games that make Tanks suffer with tons of nerfs to important key abilities and I'm sick of it.

I will say I'm not for overpowered shields however, because it makes the game less competitive for Heavy players.
I love a good competition/firefight.

I'm assuming they know this as well, and maybe the Heavy was a Bot. If it were me, I wouldn't be walking down a random walkway with my mini-gun out and not primed.
Especially without a medic around.

It looked like an Operative heavy with a mini-gun also, but I could be wrong.
Not that it makes a difference or anything...

~1:15 timestamp

We don't know the situation either. The heavy could have been coming back from the frontlines, looking for a medic. There's a lot that happens offscreen.

That is the role of the Medium, balance between no SUPER offensive weapons, no INSANE agility its the vanilla of the flavor world

with the other 2 being spicy and sour

a balance for ppl to play in case they dont want to give up to much either way

Sweet & sour sauce is liquid magic. Just saying.

But yeah, I'll probably be Medium most of the time. I'll get the weapons I like (shotgun & SMG) and still be able to get around pretty quickly. Nothing extreme, just functional.

That sounds like some really nasty flavoring. Couldn't it have been a nice neapolitan ice cream with chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry.

I think he was medium. If you notice there was some small container right in front of the wall and I'm guessing he jumped off of that then got up. Or maybe he was a light but had on god mode and that's why he could use the shotgun

The radioactive goo, are these colorful markers that allow you to distinguish friend from foe easier. It kind of looks like glowing slime. Blue for teammates and red/orange for enemies

i didn't notice anything like this in any Videos! Yes! People are saying it looks annoying, hopefully I won't see it as too much of a distraction.

It's most noticeable in the videos from Pax 2011
I wouldn't say it's annoying but I'd rather not have it for realistic purposes. It seems like the kind of thing that would be a bother at first. As far as I know you can turn it off.

And no problem glad I could give some info :P

Either way free comms hack and disguise. I wonder if you can do both to a downed player?

I'm kind of hoping so, although I think it would make more sense for the player to be actually dead before you disguised as him. But when I run a primarily Operative character (not my main) I'm going to try for it.

Excellent SMART movement I am even more excited. It seems that the Soldier's armor is a self buff only.
