New gameplay video shares details on Abilities

This morning we put up a new gameplay vidoe that gives a taste of the 50+ Abilities you'll be able to unlock in Brink. Ability unlocks includes ones specific to individual character classes (Medic, Solider, Engineer, and Operative), as well as universal abilities.

Well, we got a new look at some items, some recolouring, some kills, some usage of abilities, and the ability screen interface

Also juding by how the customization screen was, I believe this is the one they are sticking with?

Hm.. Was that an Operative Main-Mission? It sure as hell didn't look minor!

They've stated it before all classes will have major parts in missions so its not surprising no one will be left out feeling like "The Hero" of the game

I always thought the main objectives were for the Soldiers and the Engineers, and well.. A little bit for the Medics, since they have to revive the person they're escorting for the main mission

But since I just saw an Operative hack some big ass funky shiet, I know this was not completely true :P

Still think there is nothing for the Medic.. Unless it must be a Medic that has to take the ''bio-weapon'' and/or ''vaccine'' in the Container City after the bot has done it's work

Wouldn't be kinda wrong if each class didn't have major objectives?

Medics have escort NPC's missions.

Kind of like the sniper rifle in the other vid. He could have been already damaged.

Eeh.. Maybe, but I've heard something about people dying instantly from the shotgun, not getting downed or anything before :l

And the Sniper instantly kills Lights in the head, but.. Yeah, that's them

Oh, I saw the Eel mask, not once, but twice (in different colors and on two different body types)! :D

This game always look so colorful and sooooooo pweety! ^_^ The environments and seeing the gameplay in action is just.... wow.

Looks awesome. The silenced shotgun definitely was.

That self-resurrect skill looks pretty handy, though it might be annoying when other people use it to get back at you :P I'm guessing you might have to be a medic and do a lot of healing to get that skill though.

Absolutely love the music.

And as hats = head gear, but masks = face gear, I wonder if you can combine The Eel mask and The Jesse hat. That'd be awesome! :laugh:

Also notice how much radioactive slime he's covered in at such a close distance.

I think he meant downed, its mostly interchangeable at this point since nothing can by knock you past being downed in one blow,

Slime really wasn't that apparent when he closing the distance only when he fell, Maybe its tied to movement?
