new games

Post » Thu Feb 10, 2011 11:44 am

i don't have the game yet just to be clear.

am 37 year old girl who has been gaming when the first atari was out (so long time).
What am seeing here is a lot of useless info and flame post about a game that has been born for just 1 day.
Patience can be a bless people, it really is :)

i never have seen a game come out that was perfect from the beginning, jeez i have play games that was downfall horrible on the release.
But thy end up to be top games after few weeks. i will explain some things

graphics - you have to remember that the ps3 and xbox are old stuff, you will not see to top graphics anymore on the console till the new ones come out
Gameplay - people need to learn the game, not all of the player are hardcoe gamers, and ALL games have bugs on release
Balance - give it some time to let the devs put things in order. there are a lot of things that thy only find out if the game is been played intensively for few weeks
problems - you all have to understand that there are so many systems specs out there that the makers of a game can NOT foresee every problem that is out there
compares - lot of people i see here compare it to other games, how can you do that ??????? its a total new gameplay , how can you say that it will be never as CS, off course not , think before you say somethings like that :)

You now how it comes that games are out before thy are finished completely, its all your fault.
when i look at the forum from before the game was out you all where yelling that it takes to long. we all are to demanding and wants to have games immediately if you hear about it,
and then people are getting mad that not all is in order yet.

What i want to say is, Give it some time, be patience

ps: am not English so repair all the mistakes if you want :) :) :)

Baldur's Gate 2 I never, ever, stumbled across a bug on my 2 play throughs (there were some trouble with it working on vista/ win 7 but thats fixed now, it wasn't made for these os's). That being said, that game was so big I think I don't think I have played through all of it yet, even after 2-300 hrs :P but that is, in my experience, a game that was bug free. Although also the only experience i have had since I started gaming 14 or so years ago.

Bud in the end it was indeed almost bug free game.
Thats just what i mean in my post, people need to have little patience for it to become a good game

I didn't say it was bugfree, I just said my playthroughs were bugfree... Sometimes people just get lucky haha, and I guess that I did with that game at least. And yes indeed, it would be silly to think that developers are going to leave the game if it is not what it is meant to be. If there are a few bugs here and there it would be silly to not fix them, since, in the end, your community is your food and water for all intents and purposes.

spot on, its the community in the end who makes the game. but it takes time and that is what is bothering a lot of people, thy don't have the patience :)
But going further on community its one of the things i like about bethesa games, it has normally a great community behind it if you leave the flamers out :)

This is what an experienced player would say. Have to agree with you. :trophy:
Just bored with those yelling. They have no faith in SD and BRINK but they buy the game and throw it away in several hours.
And they like to "persuade" the others that this game is dumb as hell and thinking themselves as the authority.
Just ridiculous.
