I've been away for a bit and thus haven't kept up with the latest mods. Have been released that replace or add new magice/particle effects? Or even better has anyone done a Blender or Max tutorial on this? I need to make a number of effects. Thanks in advance .

There's a number of such replacers listed on this http://www.mwmythicmods.com/noglow.htm It's a bit old though, so better stuff may have been released since then, but I don't know anything for sure.
