New Hair

Speaking of hair, why is it some NPCs in F3 looked like their hair/facial hair were longer/shorter than yours could be?

I'd prefer a long hair option, but even if it was there, I would still make my guy look like David Bowie.

This.

The 1st part at least.

Your emo teenage hairstyles have no place in my game, or even on Earth for that matter

I don't think they should necessarily be in the game either, but some people don't want boring skinhead haircuts or short hair. :) :) :) :)

The drawbacks are that it runs on electricity, gasoline, or witchcraft, correct?

/sarcasm

Edit: But Yeah, making my guy look like Clint Eastwood most likely. Either that or a survivalist.

Edit2: He'll yell "Wilson!!!! while walking around the wastes... :D"

I noticed this too. Most NPC's facial hair situation seem to be much more.......awesome? The PC pales in comparison. Like Doc Church, when I saw him I went "Hey that's my facial hair style! Give it!"

I'm hoping for more facial hair options personally, Unsettler and Blast Black suit me fine for hair. But I want an even bigger menagerie of facial hair styles, fear the beard.

Weird beard.

Nothing but the buzz cut for me, whether in game or in life. It's just too damn comfortable, and gives me a decidedly anti-hippie look.

I usually just went for Terrorsaur and Rough Beard in Fallout 3. I'll probably use them if they're in.

I haven't really seen any new ones. There was an Elvis-like one that I saw in one of the leaked videos, but that's about it.

This literaly made my day :)

This thread has inspired me to make a Lemmy character, who will bring anacrhy to the wastes while drinking lots of booze, shooting up chems, and playing god save the queen. I can only hope they have the right facial hair in the game.

edit: for html phail

I am hoping there's an afro this time around (My hair grows naturally into one) or if not I'll just go looking bad [censored] with another mohawk and hopefully a rat pack suit.

I would enjoy having a Caesar style haircut, as it is called. Short, messy, and has good game.
The ideal hair for me, though, would be the Caesar, with ear-locks.
Surprisingly I have never seen a game where the PC can have ear-locks. If you think about it, Jews would have a 100% chance of surviving an apocalyptic setting, since we have survived just about everything else.

You'd think that but then again there were black slavers in Fallout 3 which I've never understood.

I prefer to follow in the footsteps of the greats.

Yes, I'm talking MacGyver, Joe Dirt, Solid Snake.

For the uninitiated, I'm talking the manly-mans manly hairtstyle. A hairstyle so fierce, so warrior-like, that modern society is afraid of it.

I want New Vegas to have

THE MULLET.

from the looks of the videos posted so far, one thing they have done is ramped up the beard options. From full-on Custer tashes to ZZ Top beards, by the looks. Wouldn't suite me like, but I'm sure I'll knock up a male character at some point just so I can be a Victorian tash-twirler villian type (ties Lily to railway tracks, gives a loud "muahahahahha")

No races are innocent of slave trade. As an example, African slave traders were largely to blame for bringing slavery to the American colonies. There was not much of a market for their slaves in Europe, where there was already feudalism and the lords were served by their serfs. Consequently, the African slave traders marketed their slaves to the New World instead, where there was a definite need for labor. In time, the slaves became 'institutionalized' there. Here's an interesting http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/African_slave_trade on African slave trade.

In any case, there will always be immoral individuals who will seek to dominate others, regardless of color, when there is no rule of law.
